Gurgenidze One-Ups Silbernagel
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
In a heads-up pot with close to 7,000 in the middle on a flop showing 9♦7♥2♥, Gilles Silbernagel checked from middle position to Otar Gurgenidze on the button who bet out 3,000, which Silbernagel called.
On the 10♣ turn both players checked their options to the 3♠ river. Silbernagel elected to lead out for a bet of 1,000 and Gurgenidze quickly tossed in a chip for the call.
Silbernagel tabled 7♣4♦ for a pair of sevens but was no good against the 8♥8♦ for Gurgenidze to secure the pot.
