Zappala Busts Bubble to Said; Players Bag and Tag

After several rounds of hand for hand that resulted in double ups for the short stacked players, Uri Netanel raised from under the gun, Moritz Bleiker called and Francesco Zappala moved all in from middle position for 25,000. He was called by Tahar Said, Netanel and Bleiker.

The flop came 6♥5♠10♠ and all three players checked, clearly looking to cooperate on the bubble. The turn was the 10♦ and players checked. The river was the A♣ and once again players checked it back.

After a pause while the other tables finished up, the hand was announced and players flipped their cards.

Zappala showed A♦2♥ for a pair of aces. That would have been enough against two of his opponents, but Tahar Said flipped over A♠J♠ for a pair of aces with the jack kicker.

Zappala was eliminated on the bubble. The rest of the 71 remaining players bagged and tagged ready to come back for Day 2, when they will all be in the money.
