Ogita Flops The World Against Patka
Level 35
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Tomas Patka opened to 800,000 from the button with K♥Q♠ and only Daisuke Ogita made the call in the big blind with 8♥6♠.
The flop fanned out 8♣8♠2♣ and both players checked their options to the 5♣ turn. Ogita elected to take the lead with a bet of 700,000 and Patka came along.
The 2♠ completed the board and Ogita fired out for 2,550,000. Patka went deep in the tank, but after over a minute of deliberation, reluctantly made the fold and the pot was sent to Ogita.
