Sellam Takes One From Patka
Level 36
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Tomas Patka limped in from the small blind with J♠8♦ and Rubens Sellam checked his option in the big blind with J♣10♦.
The flop fanned out J♦7♠3♣ giving both players top pair. The action checked through to the 2♥ and Patka led out for 1,500,000, which Sellam made the call.
On the 7♦ river Patka quickly checked and after a moment Sellam tapped the table to check back. Sellam took down the pot with a pair of jacks with a ten kicker and inches closer to the top of the leaderboard.
