Patka Flops The Nuts
Level 38
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Daisuke Ogita limped in from the small blind with 10♦8♥ and Tomas Patka bumped up the action to 2,400,000 in the big blind with A♣J♣. Ogita took some time but eventually tossed in chips for the call.
The flop came K♣9♣8♣, giving Patka the nut-flush, who after being checked to, continued for 800,000. Ogita quickly folded and the pot was sent to Patka.
