Welcome to Day 1b of the €1,100 FPS Main Event, the second flight of the first tournament running as part of the PokerStars EPT presented by Monte-Carlo Casino®. The venue for this prestigious event is the stunning Sporting Monte-Carlo, where players can lap up the Mediterranean vibes while playing for top prizes that run into the hundreds of thousands.

Day 1a is already underway and PokerNews reporters are on the floor to bring you live updates as the tournament progresses. Day 1b, meanwhile, kicks off at at 6 p.m. local time. Late registration is open until midnight.

Players begin with 30,000 chips and blind levels start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Day 1b is slightly faster than 1a, with blind levels set at 30 minutes. There will be a 20 minute break every four levels until Level 14, at which point break times will be reduced to 15 minutes.

The most recent FPS Main Event was held at the EPT Paris, where Alan Goasdoue outlasted a field of 1,918 entries to take home €287,830. Venue limitations in Paris led to caps on the number of players who could enter, so the FPS Main Event in Monaco could well attract even larger numbers.
