Julien Sitbon raised it up in middle position and Aliaksandr Shylko three-bet to 3,000 on his left. The action folded back to Sitbon who called to see a flop of 6♥4♠3♥. Both players checked and the 4♦ paired the board on the turn.

Sitbon led out with a bet of 3,600 and Shylko stuck around for the 6♠ on the river. Sitbon moved all in and Shylko paused for a moment before calling off his stack of around 8,000. Sitbon tabled 5♣5♦ while Shylko only had ace-high with A♦K♦.

Table 44 just recently opened with a few new entries joining the field with a 30,000 starting stack. However, Thao Nguyen Hong was moved from another table and was already down to just over 13,000 chips when he opened to 1,000 in middle position. The button flat-called and Mauricio Salazar Sanchez put his fresh stack to work by reraising to 6,200 in the small blind. Hong called and the button got out of the way.

The flop came Q♠5♥3♥ and Salazar Sanchez continued with a bet of 2,500. Hong shoved all in for just over 7,000 and Salazar Sanchez snapped him off. Hong tabled K♣10♣ and Salazar Sanchez held A♥J♥. The runout of 5♣, 7♠ changed nothing and Salazar Sanchez's ace-high was good enough to eliminate Hong.

Anisimov Rips Into Ripper

On a flop of J♠10♥5♥, the action checked to Walter Ripper who bet 8,000 into a pot of just over 20,000. Maurice Anisimov check-raised all in from the small blind which got the big blind to fold. Ripper, however, snapped off his last 24,000 chips and the cards were face up.

Ripper was ahead with the over pair but had plenty of outs to dodge with Anisimov holding a pair and a flush draw. The 5♠ and Q♣ runout gave Ripper a full house and a double-up, leaving Anisimov on crumbs.

There were three players who went to the flop for 1,000 and the dealer fanned the Q♥10♠7♦. The action checked around and the K♣ landed on the turn.

The action checked to Frederic Casalta again in the cutoff who flicked in a bet of 1,700. Dinesh Alt called from the big blind and they went heads-up to the Q♠ on the river.

Alt checked for the third time and Casalta dropped in a bet of 5,200. Alt gave it some thought before sending in a chip to call. Casalta tabled K♠Q♣ for a full house and Alt was unable to beat it.

Kolev Gets Max Value

Picking up the action on the river with a completed board of A♥7♣2♥J♣5♣, Yanfeng Wang and Boris Kolev were heads-up in a pot with around 25,000 in the middle already.

Wang checked from early position and Kolev jammed all in for 23,500 in the cutoff. Wang went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally calling off his stack of 22,700. Kolev flipped over 2♣2♦ for a set of deuces while Wang's cards went into the muck as he was eliminated.
