The action checked to the hijack who continued with a bet of 1,500. The small blind folded and Karakas check-raised to 4,500 which his opponent called.

The turn was the 9 and Karakas dropped in a bet of 30,000. His opponent mulled it over before calling off his stack of around 16,000. Karakas tabled KQ while his opponent was left drawing slim with 109. The river was the 2 and Karakas held on to send his opponent to the rail.
