O'Dwyer Puts Petrangelo In a Tough Spot

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Steve O'Dwyer in the small blind who raised it up to 38,000 and Nick Petrangelo made the call in the big blind.

The flop came 753 and O'Dwyer bet out a large size of 60,000. Petrangelo took a moment, but eventually tossed in chips for the call.

On the Q turn O'Dwyer kept up the aggression with a bet of 140,000 and Petrangelo quickly let his cards go.

Break Time

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The remaining 32 players have stepped out for their last 20-minute break of the day. When they return the action will still be on hand-for-hand until one more elimination.

Camosci Goes For It Against Heath

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot of roughly 110,000 on a completed board showing AJ358. Ben Heath checked his option from the small blind to Enrico Camosci in early position who slid out a bet of 72,000.

All the rest of the tables gathered around to see the outcome, but in the end, Heath let his cards go and the pot was sent to Camosci.

Ketzer Four-Bets on the Bubble

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Felipe Ketzer open-raised to 16,000 from early position and Nick Petrangelo responded with a three-bet from the button. Tom-Aksel Bedell was in the big blind and decided to cold-call, after which Ketzer made the four-bet to 100,000, leaving himself only 30,000 chips behind.

Both Petrangelo and Bedell regretted their decisions as they folded in quick succession.

Hand for Hand Play Has Begun

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With 32 players on the clock and 31 getting paid, the last four tables are now playing hand for hand. Luis Faria and Dae-Hyung Lee were the last two players to bust on non-observed tables.

Bedell Sends Kamphues To The Rail In Brutal Fashion

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Timo Kamphues opened to 16,000 from early position and both Tom-Aksel Bedell in the small blind, and Felipe Ketzer in the big blind made the call.

The flop fanned out 644 and Bedell elected to lead out for 28,000. Ketzer quickly got out of the way and Kamphues announced a raise to 74,000. Bedell took a moment before moving all in, well covering the roughly 200,000 total for Kamphues, who made the call for his tournament life.

Timo Kamphues: JJ
Tom-Aksel Bedell: A9

It was a sweat for Kamphues up against the flush draw for Bedell, but when the turn came the 4, it significantly reduced the outs for Bedell, who could now only hit an ace.

"There's a nice card," said Bedell sarcastically as he knew his chances to win were very slim.

The river, however, fell the A and Bedell jumped out of his chair in excitement as he hit the card he needed to take the large pot and send Kamphues to the rail on the soft bubble.

Camosci Nearly Doubles Variance-Free

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action folded to Igor Yaroshevskyy in the small blind. He raised to a very big sizing of 54,000. His target was Enrico Camosci, who was sitting in the big blind with a stack of 135,000. He chose to wager all of it as he requested an all-in triangle from the dealer.

Yaroshevskyy went into the tank and expended some time bank tokens in the process. Meanwhile, some players of other tables flowed in to see what was happening.

Yaroshevskyy ended up folding his hand, preferring to maintain his stack. This led to some neighbouring tables discussing the situation.

Camosci could not care less, however, as the very next hand it folded to him in the smalll blind and he put Luis Faria all-in for less than 100,000. Faria folded and Camosci chipped up massively without a showdown near the pure bubble.

Dvoress Takes Pot With Four-Bet Pre

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With the money bubble approaching play has slowed down significantly with most pots being taken down preflop. The action folded around to Daniel Dvoress on the button who opened for 16,000.

Mikita Badziakouski put in a three-bet to 56,000 in the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and action was back on Dvoress who announced a raise to 98,000. Badziakouski took a moment before releasing his cards and the pot was sent to the Canadian without a flop.
