Big Stacks Clash in Game Changing Pot; Labat Sits Back

Anton Kraous raised to 500,000 from the button and Jeremie Zouari called in the big blind.

The flop came 2♠K♠9♣. Zouari checked and Kraous bet 450,000, which Zouari called.

The turn was the 4♣. Zouari checked again and Kraous bet out 800,000. Zouari then put in a raise to 2,000,000 and Kraous made the call. By this point, the pot was heavily inflated and short stack Labat was sat back in his chair observing the action.

The river was the 2♥ and Zouari pushed all in for 3,600,000. Kraous made the call and players revealed their cards.

Kraous had K♥3♦ for a pair of kings and Zouari showed 4♠2♦ for a full house. That brought Zouari to over 13,000,000 chips and Kraous was reduced to just 3,500,000, making him the short stack.

High Stakes Legend Patrik Antonius Says Live Streams Should "Focus on the Poker"

While many of the biggest stars from poker's golden era of the mid-2000s are only mentioned in "Where Are They Now?" pieces, Patrik Antonius is not one of them. In fact, the Finland all-time money leader is as relevant as ever.

Not only is Antonius still regularly competing in the televised cash games that boosted his career early on, he is also a force to be reckoned with in on the current high roller tournament scene and even won his first Triton title last year. Additionally, Antonius recently signed on as an ambassador for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Thrill Team, something he said he got involved in "accidentally" before adding that he was "happy to get invited to join the Thrill Team."

"It's nice," Antonius said. "WSOP is a big brand and they have a lot of influence in the industry. And it's nice that they have this app so a lot of new players can have an experience playing poker on an app like this for free. And if they like it they can start playing for real money and so on. So it's nice, it's nice that they have an app like this."

Antonius appeared as a guest on the most recent episode of the PokerNews Podcast and spoke about winning his first Triton title, how High Stakes Poker impacted his career and representing the WSOP Thrill Team in the upcoming Main Event. Aparicio Gets Shove Through, Zouari Wins One Back

Jeremie Zouari raised to 500,000 from the button and Ignacio Aparicio shoved all in from the big blind for 2,775,000.

Zouari weighed up his decision. "It's a lot of money," said Aparicio. Zouari made the fold and showed 6♥6♦. "It was a flip," said Aparicio as he scooped the pot without resistance.

The next hand, Aparicio raised to 500,000 from the button and Zouari called. The flop came 2♥7♣10♥ and Zouari led for 450,000, which Aparicio called. Both players checked on the 3♥ turn.

The river came the 8♥ and Zouari checked. Aparicio bet out and Zouari called. Aparicio showed A♦9♦ for ace high and had turned his hand into a bluff. Zouari showed 9♣7♥ for the seven high flush and had successfully caught the bluff to win one back.
