Ripper Requisites Chips

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Wagner Ripper
Wagner Ripper

Gaelle Baumann was in the hijack and made the raise to 600. Wagner Ripper made the call from the next seat over and so did Birger Ohl in the big blind.

The flop of J64 saw Baumann continuation-bet for 1,000 after Ohl had checked. Both of her adversaries called and the Q turn was dealt.

The action now checked to Ripper, who put out a bet of 3,000. Ohl was the only caller as Baumann let her hand go at this point.

On the 7 river, Ohl checked for the third time. He had 10,500 chips behind and Ripper decide to put more than that amount in the middle. Ohl thought about it for a bit but ended op mucking his holding.

The next hand, Baumann made the same preflop raise to 600, and this time Ripper made the three-bet to 2,000. Baumann called but folded after Ripper made a continuation-bet on the K83 flop. Ripper showed JJ as the dealer pushed the chips toward him.

Adrian State

David Lascar had put 6,000 chips in the middle from the cutoff, for what is assumed to be a four-bet, and Adrian State was all in from the button for 30,100.

Lascar asked for confirmation whether the tournament had reentries and, after he received the affirmitve answer, made the call.

Adrian State: 99
David Lascar: 44

''My favorite hand'', State explained. ''Me too'', Lascar responded.

The board ran out without any significant cards: 102AQQ. It turned out that Lascar covered State by 4,000 chips and State secured the very early double-up.

Folds in Big Pots

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Jimmy Kebe had open-raised his button and Ilya Nikiforov made it 1,700 to go from the small blind. Kebe made the call and the pair saw a 2K8 flop.

Nikiforov maintained the aggression by betting another 1,300, which Kebe swiftly called. The A turn appeared, and when Nikiforov upped his sizing to 2,700 Kebe folded.

On another table, Vahe Ter-Khachatryan and Tibor Nagygyorgy were battling over a pot the size of 8,000 chips. The flop was already present and read 758. Both players checked and the 5 turn fell. Now Ter-Khachatryan led out of the small blind for 3,000 and Nagygyorgy flatted from under the gun.

On the A river Ter-Khachatryan slowed down with a check and Nagygyorgy went all in, covering his opponent's remaining 22,500 chips. Ter-Khachatryan folded while telling the table he had pocket queens.

Christopher Dowling and Boris Kolev were also spotted at this table with a fresh stack of 30,000 chips
