Lakhdari Doubles Through Mattsson

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Simon Mattsson opened to 2,300 from early position and Omar Lakhdari three-bet jammed a short stack from the button. Mattsson called with a bigger stack.

Omar Lakhdari: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Simon Mattsson: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop landed {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} to give Lakhdari the lead but with Mattsson drawing to a flush. The board finished out {6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Lakhdari avoided the spade and improved to trips to earn the double.

Holz Flushes Out Czuczor

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz and Marton Czuczor were heads up in a pot of roughly 40,000 chips. The completed board was {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Holz shoved all in from the cutoff, covering his opponent on the button.

Czuczor called relatively quickly, but was no match for Holz, who had {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the nuts. Czuczor was forced to show the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for the turned straight as it concerned an all-in situation.

Czuczor left the tournament while Holz is playing close to three starting stacks.

"Man, I Can't Find the Fold Button," Says Landgraf Before Eliminating Shing

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alberto Okuda Landgraf
Alberto Okuda Landgraf

Philip Shing raised to 2,000 from early position and Alberto Landgraf announced his reraise to 11,000. Action folded back around to Shing, who made the call for a decent chunk of his stack.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Shing took less than a second to shove the flop for the rest of his chips, around 30,000. Landgraf moved his time bank cards into the middle as he thought about his decision.

"Man, I can't find the fold button," he said. And indeed he couldn't, eventually making the call. It was the right call to make though. Shing showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Landgraf showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a higher pocket pair.

The turn came the {j-Clubs} to give Landgraf a set. This also brought Shing a little hope in the form of a flush draw, but it wasn't to be. The river came {7-Spades} and Landgraf held to eliminate Shing from the tournament.

Landgraf got up and shook his opponent's hand before Shing left the table.

The turn brought the {j-Spades} and Volkmann bet 23,000. Chidwick gave the board a glance and then folded.

Kassouf With A Special Request

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Neville Endo Costa opened to 3,000 from under the gun. William Kassouf called from the next seat over, as did Jenya Gavrilovich on the button.

The trio saw a {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop appear, which Costa checked to Kassouf. Kassouf bet 7,500 and Gavrilovich folded, while Costa decided to call.

The turn {8-Hearts} saw Kassouf bet 16,500 after another check from Costa, remarking: ''If you have a flush, you have a flush.'' Costa most likely did not have a flush, as he let his hand go.

After the fact, Kassouf specifically requested PokerNews staff to include ''Hashtag like a boss'' in the post, just for good measure.
