Obara Squeezes Into a Fold

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Will Kassouf opened to 3,500 in middle position and was called by Diogo Cardoso on his left and the hijack. Jun Obara three-bet to 14,700 in the cutoff and the action folded back to Kassouf.

After spending a couple of minutes in the tank, Kassouf threw his cards to the muck in frustration. Cardoso opted to four-bet shove all in for 67,300 which got the hijack to fold. Obara asked for a count and spent some time in the tank as well but opted to lay his hand down as well.

Souki Finds Aces

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Philippe Souki
Philippe Souki

Tetsuma Ishizu moved all in for 14,900 middle position before Thomas Muehloecker rejammed from the cutoff. Phillipe Souki was on the button and called off his tournament life with his last 41,600.

Tetsuma Ishizu: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Philippe Souki: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Thomas Muehloecker: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Souki was in fantastic shape to get a double up and change up and ousting Ishizu. That's exactly what happened as the board ran out with the {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Le Goff Stands Up and Wins

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mihails Morozovs had raised from early position to 2,500 when Steve Savio made it 6,500 to go from the cutoff. Next to act was Damien Le Goff on the button, who announced an all-in for 20,600. It folded back to Savio, who called relatively quickly after getting a count.

Damien Le Goff: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Steve Savio: {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

When Le Goff saw Savio's hand, he stood up in disbelief, put on his coat and was ready to go home. The whole table, including Savio, had a good laugh about the situation. As the two traded some words in French the board ran out {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, prompting Le Goff to sit back down quickly to collect his new chips.

Kassouf Exits in Final Level

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

William Kassouf was all-in for about 22,000 chips from middle position and Jelle Moene had called from the small blind.

William Kassouf: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Jelle Moene: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

As the flop fell {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}, Kassouf keenly stated: ''He just flops a flush''. As the {q-Hearts} rolled off on the turn, no river cards could save Kassouf's tournament life, and he took his leave while the dealer put out the meaningless {5-Spades} to complete the board.
