Santoni Check-Raises Taieb

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a lengthy hand that extended into the new level, Roger Taieb opened to 100,000 from the hijack and Axel Santoni tanked before defending out of the small blind.

Santoni checked on the flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Taieb continued for 180,000. Santoni took some time and called. Santoni checked again on the {9-Spades} turn and Taieb took a few moments before putting out a stack of green 25,000 chips for a bet of 375,000.

Santoni returned to the tank for several minutes and a table mate eventually called clock. As his final seconds wound down, Santoni announced a raise to over 1,000,000 and was met with a snap-fold from his opponent.

Morvan Gets Outdrawn and Eliminated

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Romain Morvan opened from early position for 100,000. Diogo Vieira flat called from one seat over, and the rest of the table laid their hands down. The flop came out {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Morvan slowed down and checked to Vieira. This time, Vieira was the one to put 100,000 in the middle, which Morvan called after some thought.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Morvan checked to Vieira again. No small bets this time, as Vieira opted to put Morvan all in for roughly 700,000 chips effectively. Morvan had to think for several minutes but eventually put in a reluctant call. Morvan was shown that he was ahead for the moment, but he had to dodge a lot of outs to stay alive in the tournament.

Romain Morvan: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Diogo Vieira: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The river {2-Hearts} completed Vieira's flush draw and consequently booted Morvan out of the tournament.

No Pay Jump for Rajkovic

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Firoz Mangroe opened to 125,000 from early position before Adi Rajkovic made it 600,000 from the button.

Mangroe then moved all in for 1,150,000. Rajkovic had only another 260,000 behind and indicated he was going to call but would take his time in case an elimination occurred on an outer table.

"Oh, it looks like no one wants to bust," said Rajkovic as he called.

Adi Rajkovic: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Firoz Mangroe: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Rajokiv had to settle for a €6,040 payout as he was eliminated following the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} runout. The 31 remaining players have now locked up a prize of at least €6,980.

Oleksii Natoptanyi opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Firoz Mangroe three-bet to 500,000. Natoptanyi jammed as the bigger stack, and Mangroe, who had 1,100,000 more, called.

Firoz Mangroe: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Oleksii Natoptanyi: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The aces remained best and Mangroe was ousted after the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds} runout.

Decauche Shows Daring Bluff

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Dorian Decauche

Mario Re opened the action from the button for 135,000. Dorian Decauche in the big blind weighed his options and ended up calling.

The flop {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} saw little action as both players checked. The turn {k-Clubs} was quite the opposite, as Decauche check-raised Re's 145,000 bet to 375,000. Re put in the extra chips and both players saw the river {5-Diamonds}.

Decauche started counting how many chips he still had in his possession, before shoving most of them in front of him. 700,000 was the bet, leaving him only 75,000 chips behind. Re reluctantly let go of his hand, which caused Decauche to jump up from his chair and proudly show everyone the stone-cold bluff with {q-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Kaukua Runs Into Kings

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Djamal Boutaleb opened in early position and Axel Santoni called in late position before Toni Kaukua three-bet jammed from the big blind. Boutaleb folded and Santoni called with Kaukua covered.

Toni Kaukua: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Axel Santoni: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Kaukua had the worse pair and couldn't hit a set as the board ran out {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to mark his elimination.

"I hope you win," Kaukua told Santoni as he gave him a fist-bump.
