Sergei Petrushevskii Eliminated in 20th Place (€43,100)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sergei Petrushevskii
Sergei Petrushevskii

Having lost a small portion of his stack against Razvan Belea with a minor kicker problem, Sergei Petrushevskii jammed in the cutoff for around 580,000 soon after. The action folded to Johan Schultz-Pedersen in the big blind, who instantly called.

Sergei Petrushevskii: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Johan Schultz-Pedersen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop gave Petrushevskii a gutshot but he found no help on the {2-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river to finish in 20th place for €43,100.

Kenny Hallaert Eliminated in 19th Place (€43,100)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Following a raise to 85,000 from Mehdi Chaoui in the hijack, Kenny Hallaert moved all in for 590,000 on the button. When action folded back to Chaoui, he called to put Hallaert at risk.

Kenny Hallaert: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Mehdi Chaoui: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Hallaert's ace was dominated, but he did get help with the {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop which brought him a flush draw.

However, the {4-Diamonds} was no help, nor was the {9-Hearts} river, ending Hallaert's day in 19th place.

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Harry Lodge raised it up on the button and picked up a call by Arthur Conan in the big blind. Following a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Conan check-called bets worth 60,000, 160,000 and 230,000 rather swiftly.

Lodge tabled the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts} for trips eights and Conan flashed the {a-}{j-Spades} for aces and jacks.

"I would have paid by far more," Mehdi Chaoui chimed in.

Latinois Doubles Through Conan

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After Arthur Conan raised to 110,000 on the button, Malo Latinois three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind, leaving himself 10,000 behind. Conan then moved all in.

Latinois flicked forward a couple of time banks before he tossed in his last two chips to put himself at risk.

Malo Latinois: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Arthur Conan: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop brought Latinois immediate help, coming {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, pairing his king.

The {5-Spades}{k-Clubs} runout gave him a full house on the river to send him to dinner break with a double up.

More for Schultz-Pedersen and Chaoui

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Without showdown, Johan Schultz-Pedersen and Mehdi Chaoui increased their stacks on the outer tables.

Razvan Belea defended the big blind in the latest hand versus Schultz-Pedersen to then check-fold the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop when Schultz-Pedersen bet 55,000.

Chaoui three-bet to 240,000 on the button and initial raiser Mathieu Di Meglio came along, then checked the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. That resulted in a bet worth 175,000 by Chaoui and Di Meglio quickly folded.
