Welcome to Day 4 of the €5,300 Main Event at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris. Cards go in the air at 12 p.m. local time at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile for the final 47 players.
The remaining 47 runners survived a Day 3 field of 174 to guarantee themselves at least €21,450 from a prize pool of €7,708,800. They're all fighting for a chance to be the last person standing on Sunday with the EPT trophy and the top prize of €1,170,000.
At the top of the leaderboard is Germany's Konstantin Held, who bagged the biggest stack of the day with 2,935,000. He's followed by France's Fabrice Bigot in second with 2,235,000 and the United Kingdom's Brian Delaney with 2,180,000 in third.

Harry Lodge, Manig Loeser, and Niklas Astedt also made their way into the top ten, along with Denzel Spekman, Miroslav Alilovic, and Arthur Conan.
Players will return in Level 22 with blinds at 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 ante. Levels are 90 minutes long and there will be a 20-minute break after each of them. Plans for a dinner break will be released later, along with the scheduled conclusion for the day.

On the first hand of play, Razvan Belea raised to 45,000 in the hijack and was called by Malo Latinois on the button.
Karim Abdelmoumene then moved all in for 505,000 from the small blind and was called by Belea.

The flop came flopping Abdelmoumene top pair, but also a set for Belea. After the turn and turn wrapped the hand with quad tens for Belea, Abdelmoumene became the first elimination of the day.

Mark Roovers opened to 40,000 and Florent Estegassy three-bet to 110,000. The four-bet shove by Roovers followed and Estegassy snap-folded.
Over on table one, Razvan Belea opened for Sergei Petrushevskii on the button and Brian Delaney in the big blind to call. The flop was checked to Belea and he made it 70,000 to go. Petrushevskii called whereas Delaney folded.
After the turn, Belea bet another 170,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Action was heads up with a big pot in the middle and on the board when Johan Schultz-Pedersen bet 200,000 and Mehdi Chaoui called. Both players checked the river and Schultz-Pedersen turned over to take the pot with a pair of queens. Chaoui tossed the losing hand in the muck.

David Tous raised it up to 40,000 from the hijack and Peter Jorgne defended the big blind. Following a flop, Jorgne opted to check-call for 50,000. Both checked the on the turn and the river completed the board.

Stefan Schillhabel raised to 40,000 from under the gun before Michael Rodrigues called from two seats over. Hala Karam also tossed in the chips to call from the cutoff, but Manig Loeser three-bet to 210,000 from the big blind. Schillhabel responded with a shove to 700,000 and both Rodrigues and Karam folded before Loeser called to put him at risk.

Frederik Brink raised to 40,000 in early position and was met with a three-bet to 120,000 from Sachin Joshi in the small blind. Brink responded with a four-bet all-in for 335,000 effective and Joshi folded.
Shortly after, Mehdi Chaoui opened to 40,000 in early position and was three-bet by Johan Schultz-Pedersen in the cutoff.
Chaoui called to see a flop of and checked. Schultz-Pedersen continued for 80,000 and got a fold from Chaoui.
