David Tous
David Tous

Peter Jorgne raised to 40,000 in the hijack and was three-bet to 150,000 in the big blind by David Tous. Jorgne then four-bet to 325,000 and Tous moved all in for about 500,000 and Jorgne called.

David Tous: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Peter Jorgne: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Tous was in rough shape in this cooler situation, and despite flopping a king, the completed board of {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} brought him no further help and he was eliminated.

Kicker Trouble Sends Taylor Packing

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Guy Taylor
Guy Taylor

Guy Taylor open-shoved for his last 355,000 in the cutoff and forced two folds. Razvan Belea in the big blind asked for a count and then called a few seconds later.

Guy Taylor: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Razvan Belea: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop changed nothing and the worries of Taylor continued on the {2-Clubs} turn as it was now certain that the minor kicker advantage would play. There was no mischief on the {8-Spades} river as Taylor became the 37th place finisher, whereas Belea notched up his fourth elimination of the day.

Held Remains the Hero; Gets a Bluff Through

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Konstantin Held
Konstantin Held

Joining the action on the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, Mehdi Chaoui in the big blind checked and subsequently check-raised a bet of Konstantin Held from 35,000 to 115,000. Held came along to the {j-Clubs} turn on which Chaoui checked.

Held now made it 210,000 to go and Chaoui called.

That led them to the {7-Clubs} river on which Chaoui quickly checked once more. Held fired a bet of 1,000,000 and Chaoui instantly tilted out of his chair to study the board and his opponent closer while tossing all his time bank extentions towards the middle of the table.

"What the fuck can I do ... you give me the price to fold this hand," Chaoui exclaimed before adding a "bro?!"

Held showed no reaction at all and focused towards the middle of the table. Two time bank extensions vanished before Chaoui folded and he was shown the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

"Enough with the small ball poker, that's how you play king queen," Niklas Astedt joked.

Baumann Eliminated by Jorgne

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

After a raise to 55,000 from early position by Peter Jorgne, Gaelle Baumann moved all in for 340,000 from the button. Action folded back to Jorgne who made the call.

Gaelle Baumann: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Peter Jorgne: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Baumann had her money in good, but the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} changed everything, giving Jorgne trip kings, and leaving the last woman in the field needing a ten to make a straight.

The {2-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river were neither though, and Baumann was sent to the rail, leaving just four tables in play.
