Kasper Drops Below a Million

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Brian Delaney opened to 250,000 from under the gun with the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Fabrice Bigot gave it some thought with the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} but folded on the button. Henri Kasper in the big blind called with the {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and had fewer than one million behind to the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop.

Kasper checked to Delaney, who bet 150,000, and the Estonian used one time bank card, then slid his cards into the muck.

Spekman Gets a Shove Through Against Bigot

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Konstantin Held raised to 240,000 from under the gun with the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Denzel Spekman called on the button with the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}. Fabrice Bigot in the big blind went into the tank with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and three-bet to 1,000,000.

That forced out Held but Spekman had other plans. He carefully counted his chips for a few seconds and then announced all-in for 2,630,000 total, sending Bigot into the tank once more. One time bank of Bigot vanished before the Frenchman opted to fold.

Delaney Builds in Multiway Pot

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Brian Delaney
Brian Delaney

Brian Delaney raised to 240,000 in the cutoff with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and got called by Denzel Speckman in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Razvan Belea in the big blind with {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} bringing all sorts of possibilities.

Speckman checked his ace-high flush draw, Belea checked his gutshot and worse flush draw, and Delaney bet 260,000 with top pair.

Both opponents stuck around to the {7-Clubs} turn and checked to Delaney again.

This time he bet 780,000 which Speckman called, but Belea folded.

The {8-Hearts} came on the river and both players checked, with Delaney's pair of kings holding on to take down the pot.

Showdown Pot for Bigot Against Jorgne

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Denzel Spekman raised to 240,000 on the button with the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Razvan Belea in the small blind three-bet to 820,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. It folded back to Spekman, who quickly got out of the way.

Peter Jorgne then opened to 250,000 with the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} in the hijack for the next hand. Fabrice Bigot called in the small blind with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Konstantin Held let go of {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} in the big blind. The {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop missed the open-raiser but Jorgne bet 250,000 regardless, picking up a check-call by Bigot.

That led them to the {5-Clubs} turn, on which Bigot checked again with Jorgne checking it back. Neither player improved with the {5-Hearts} river and Bigot checked a third time in a row. Jorgne knuckled it back and the pot was sent to the last Frenchman in contention.

Belea's Bad Bluff Sends Bigot to Break with a Boom

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot raised to 210,000 under the gun with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and got called by Razvan Belea in the big blind with {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

On the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, the players both checked. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, drilling Bigot's gutshot straight draw.

It was Belea, however, that started betting, as he led out for 400,000. Bigot just called and the {6-Spades} came on the river.

That didn't slow Belea's attempt to steal the pot as he blasted 1,300,000 to the middle which was snap-called by Bigot.

The win rocketed Bigot up to third in the chip counts as the players headed to break.

River Saves Jorgne in Massive Pot over Delaney

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Peter Jorgne
Peter Jorgne

Brian Delaney raised in the cutoff to 210,000 with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Peter Jorgne just called on the button with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} bringing top pair to Delaney who bet 230,000. Jorgne then raised his overpair to 600,000 and got called by Delaney.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, giving Delaney two pair and he now checked. Jorgne fired big for 2,100,000, which Delaney called.

Jorgne was in potentially big trouble until the {k-Hearts} appeared on the river, bringing him a miraculous set. Delaney checked once more and now Jorgne bet 2,600,000, which sent Delaney deep into the tank.

Delaney was pained, leaning back in his chair, rubbing his head, and trying to piece together whether his two pair was good.

After using five time banks, he called and saw the bad news. The pot sent Jorgne past Razvan Belea into the chip lead, while despite losing the huge pot, Delaney remained in third place.

Johan Schultz-Pedersen
Johan Schultz-Pedersen

After Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised to 200,000 in the hijack, Razvan Belea three-bet to 570,000 on the button. Action folded back to Schultz-Pedersen who moved all in for 2,250,000 and Belea called.

Johan Schultz-Pedersen: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Razvan Belea: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {a-Spades} came in the window for Belea, followed by the {8-Clubs} and {j-Diamonds}. The turn was the {q-Hearts} and the river was the {4-Spades}, bringing no help to Schultz-Pedersen who despite surviving earlier after his outstanding fold was eliminated in 8th place.

Bigot Gets Creative Against Belea

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Razvan Belea limped out of the small blind with the {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and then called a raise to 400,000 by Fabrice Bigot in the big blind, who had the {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Neither player connected with the {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and checked to the {8-Spades} turn, as they did to the {a-Spades} river.

Belea checked again and Bigot then eventually bet 300,000 into a pot of 900,000. That was enough to win the pot as Belea opted to fold.
