Belea Builds More

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Following a raise on the button to 200,000 with {a-Spades}{7-Hearts} by Johan Schultz-Pedersen, Denzel Spekman called in the small blind with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, as did Razvan Belea in the big blind with {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Spekman checked, as did Belea with his top pair and then Schultz-Pedersen completed a trio of checks.

On the {5-Hearts} turn, Spekman checked again, but Belea started betting to the tune of 580,000. Schultz-Pedersen folded, but Spekman stuck around with his pair and double-gutter.

The river was the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked, with Belea's eights holding up for the win.

Delaney Hits Runner Runner Boat to Leave Schultz-Pedersen Short

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brian Delaney
Brian Delaney

Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised to 200,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Brian Delaney just called with the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} in the big blind. The {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Schultz-Pedersen a flush and Delaney check-called a bet worth 125,000.

With the {2-Spades} turn, the board paired and Delaney checked again for Schultz-Pedersen to then bet another 600,000 as Delaney called. Fast forward to the {10-Clubs} river, Delaney hit a miracle full house and opted to check the third street in a row.

Schultz-Pedersen loaded up a bet of 1,500,000 with 2,450,000 behind as Delaney double-checked his cards. The Brit used one time bank extension and moved all-in with the covering stack.

Schultz-Pedersen double-checked his stack briefly and slid forward all his time bank extensions to the middle of the table. Four of them were used before Schultz-Pedersen somehow got away from the flopped flush and dropped to fewer than 25 big blinds.

Mehdi Chaoui Eliminated in 9th Place (€111,000)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mehdi Chaoui
Mehdi Chaoui

Following an early position raise by Brian Delaney with {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Mehdi Chaoui just called in the hijack with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} with 1,145,000 behind.

Johan Schultz-Pedersen woke up with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} in the cutoff and three-bet to 600,000.

Delaney folded, but Chaoui moved all in and Schultz-Pedersen obviously called.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Spades} leaving Chaoui drawing dead with one of the kings folded by Delaney.

The board completed {7-Spades}{10-Clubs} sending Chaoui home with the first six-figure payout of the day.

Cards Underway for the Final Nine Players

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Brian Delaney raised to 210,000 from a middle position with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and he was called by Razvan Belea in the big blind with the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop gave Belea the top pair, which he checked. Delaney bet 140,000 and picked up a call by his opponent to head to the {6-Clubs} turn.

Belea now opted to bet 250,000 to get called by Delaney, who paired up with the {j-Hearts} river. Belea check-called 350,000 and saw the good news as he pulled ahead on the top of the leaderboard by a small margin.

Mathieu Di Meglio Eliminated in 10th Place (€85,400)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mathieu Di Meglio
Mathieu Di Meglio

After losing the all-in showdown against Konstantin Held on the outer table, Johan Schultz-Pedersen was in the small blind and eyeballed the short stack of Mathieu Di Meglio in the big blind. "Seven hundred," the Frenchman mentioned right away.

It folded to the Dane in the small blind who pushed all-in with the covering stack and Di Meglio called all-in.

Mathieu Di Meglio: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Johan Schultz-Pedersen: {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop kept Di Meglio in the lead but he fell behind with the {10-Spades} turn, vaulting out of his chair in frustration and already grabbing his belongings. With one over card and a gutshot at his disposal, Di Meglio still had some outs but missed them all with the {8-Clubs} river which only gave him inferior two pair.

This has set up the unofficial final table and there will now be a short break before the restart.

Straight Over Straight Cooler Doubles Held

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Konstantin Held
Konstantin Held

Konstantin Held raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and was called by Johan Schultz-Pedersen in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Schultz-Pedersen checked. Held bet 125,000 and the Dane called.

On the {7-Spades} turn, following another check, Held sized up to 550,000, which Schultz-Pedersen again called.

The river brought the {k-Hearts} and after a final check from Schultz-Pedersen, Held bet 1,500,000, leaving himself a single T-5,000 chip behind.

Schultz-Pedersen moved all in, and Held happily flicked in his last chip on the winning end of a cooler.

Held showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a ten-high straight, while Schultz-Pedersen showed {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the low end of the straight to double up Held who has surged back from his microstack status earlier in the day..

Bigot Beats Belea in Showdown

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot opened with a raise to 250,000 holding the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} in the cutoff and Razvan Belea defended the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} in the big blind to flop best on {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} when both players checked. There was no betting action on the {q-Hearts} turn either and Belea bet the {2-Spades} river for 450,000, earning a quick call from Bigot who won the pot with his top pair.

Delaney Wins Big Pot Off Belea

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Over on the outer table, Razvan Belea raised it up to 215,000 from under the gun and was called by Brian Delaney on the button as well as Mathieu Di Meglio. The trio checked the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop after which the {j-Spades} turn was checked to Delaney, who bet 480,000. Di Meglio folded and Belea called.

Following the {4-Diamonds} river, Belea checked again and snap-called a bet worth 1,675,000 by Delaney within a mere three seconds. Delaney rolled over the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for two pair and that won the pot, as Belea mucked. The Romanian was then moved back to the feature table to balance to field on the final table bubble.

Saar Wilf
Saar Wilf

Saar Wilf pushed all-in for the last five and a half blinds on the button and was called by Fabrice Bigot with the covering stack on the live-streamed feature table.

Saar Wilf: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Fabrice Bigot: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop kept Wilf ahead but Bigot took the lead with the {10-Clubs} turn, which he retained on the {8-Clubs} river to reduce the field to the last ten hopefuls.
