Spekman Increases Stack With Aggression

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Denzel Spekman
Denzel Spekman

Denzel Spekman raised to 160,000 from under the gun and Fabrice Bigot on the button went for a large three-bet to 750,000. Both blinds folded and Spekman then pushed all-in, forcing a snap-fold from Bigot.

Saar Wilf jammed for 780,000 from under the gun next and collected the blinds and big blind ante.

Spekman opened to 200,000 from the small blind next for WIlf to defend the big blind. They headed to the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Spekman bet 100,000 instantly, Wilf called. Spekman also quickly bet the {6-Spades} turn for 150,000 and Wilf sigh-folded after checking his cards once more.

The last hand of the level on the outer table saw Spekman raise to 160,000 on the button, forcing out Wilf and Mehdi Chaoui in the blinds.

Chaoui Into Jamming Mood

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Mehdi Chaoui
Mehdi Chaoui

Saar Wilf limped the small blind and Mehdi Chaoui in the big blind knuckled it back to see the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, which brought a bet by Wilf for 80,000 and a fold of Chaoui.

In the next hand, Chaoui open-jammed out of the small blind and Fabrice Bigot gave it brief consideration in the big blind before folding.

Chaoui opened to 160,000 on the next button and Bigot three-bet to 400,000, winning the pot right there after Chaoui invested one time bank to fold.

Chaoui then opened to 975,000 in the cutoff with 200,000 behind and claimed the blinds and big blind ante.

Last but not least, Peter Jorgne opened to 160,000 on the button for both blinds to call. No betting action took place on the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and the {7-Hearts} came on the turn. Denzel Spekman now bet 175,000 and Wilf used one time bank to fold, Jorge called.

Both checked the {2-Hearts} on the river for Spekman to reveal {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of nines, which Jorge had beat holding {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a flush.

Speckman Shortens Wilf

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Denzel Spekman raised to 200,000 in the small blind and was called by Saar Wilf in the big blind to see a flop of {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

Spekman continued for another 275,000 and got called by Wilf. On the {8-Clubs} turn, Spekman cut out chips against, spraying 390,000 forward for Wilf to think about.

The bet represented about a third of Wilf's remaining stack and after a few moments of thought, he chose to fold and preserve his remaining stack.
