[Removed:597] Doubles Through Garagnani

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Juan Pardo raised it up in the hijack and Pedro Garagnani three-bet to 28,000 on the button. [Removed:596] four-bet shoved all in for 83,000 in the small blind and the action folded back to Garagnani who reluctantly made the call.

[Removed:596]: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Pedro Garagnani: {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to give Garagnani a pair of tens but [Removed:597] flopped Broadway. The {a-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river proved to be safe for [Removed:597] who doubled up.

Alex Kulev

Alex Kulev raised it up in the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 25,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Kulev called to see a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Kulev checked to Chidwick who bet 25,000 and Kulev check-raised to 65,000. Chidwick called and the {k-Spades} rolled off on the turn. Kulev jammed all in for 234,000 and Chidwick snapped him off.

Alex Kulev: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Kulev had a combo draw and needed to hit against Chidwick's two pair. The river was the {3-Spades} and Kulev made his flush to score a double-up through Chidwick.

Grafton Finally Over Starting Stack

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

After mentioning to the PokerNews reporting team before the break that he hadn't been over starting stack all day, PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton has finally cracked that mark thanks to a hand with Tom Orpaz.

The duo got into a preflop raising war that saw about 200,000 in the middle before the dealer spread {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} beside the meaty pot.

Grafton checked from under the gun and Orpaz checked behind in the cutoff.

They checked again on the {4-Spades} turn, but on the {a-Clubs} river, Grafton now bet 75,000, which was most of his remaining stack.

Orpaz quickly called and saw that he was pipped on the river.

Grafton turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the winner, while Orpaz showed his slightly inferior {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Adams Closing In on a Million

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Timothy Adams and Gregoire Auzoux were heads-up in a four-bet pot after each sticking in 85,000 apiece preflop. The dealer fanned the flop of {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Adams checked from the small blind.

Auzoux tossed in a bet of 40,000 in the big blind and Adams shoved all in. Auzoux had a decision to make for the rest of his 187,000 chips and used a time bank before choosing to lay his hand down.

In a battle of the blinds, Stephen Chidwick in the small blind and Saar Wilf in the big saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Chidwick check-called a bet of 20,000 to see the {10-Hearts} on the turn.

The players now checked to the {9-Clubs} river and Chidwick led for 15,000. Wilf responded with a raise to 50,000, which after a brief pause, got a fold from Chidwick.

Pardo Gets Overbet Value

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With about 20,000 in the middle on a turn board of {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} Juan Pardo bet 30,000 from the big blind.

Aleksejs Ponakovs was on the button and he made the call.

The river brought the {6-Diamonds}, double-pairing the board. Pardo now checked, and Ponakovs checked behind.

Pardo showed {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, tens and sixes, which was good as Ponakovs sent his cards to the muck.
