Brewer Keeps His Foot on the Gas

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Gregoire Auzoux opened to 55,000 from the hijack and Chris Brewer three-bet to 150,000 on the button. Auzoux called and the dealer fanned the flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Auzoux checked to Brewer who continued with a bet of 200,000 and Auzoux called. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Auzoux checked again. Brewer counted out a bet of 425,000 which put Auzoux in the tank for over a minute before he eventually laid his hand down.

Hissou Gets Pre-Dinner Double From Adams

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Sirzat Hissou
Sirzat Hissou

After Timothy Adams raised to 40,000 under the gun, Sirzat Hissou three-bet all-in for 136,000.

Adams made the call to put Hissou at risk.

Sirzat Hissou: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Timothy Adams: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Adams appeared to be in great shape to score a knockout, but the {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop had other ideas, bringing Hissou a flush draw.

The {8-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing, but the {6-Hearts} on the river brought Hissou what he needed to flush 136,000 chips away from Adams and into his own stack before the break.

O'Dwyer Dents Vieira

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Joao Vieira raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and was called by Steve O'Dwyer on the button and Pedro Marques in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Vieira continued with a bet of 42,000. O'Dwyer called and Marques got out of the way.

The {8-Clubs} rolled off on the turn and Vieira sized up a bet of 190,000. O'Dwyer still called and the {2-Spades} completed the board. Vieira checked this time and O'Dwyer knuckled it back. Vieira showed {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for missed straight draws while O'Dwyer held {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair.

Sam Greenwood opened to 45,000 under the gun and was three-bet to 125,000 by Chris Brewer on the button.

Greenwood responded with a four-bet to 265,000, but Brewer wasn't done yet.

Brewer then clicked a five-bet to 405,000 sending Greenwood briefly into the tank.

He opted to release his hand and cede the preflop raising war to Brewer.

Heath Battles Brewer

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Following an under-the-gun raise to 40,000 from Gregoire Auzoux, Chris Brewer three-bet to 110,000 from middle position. Ben Heath was in the big blind and he went briefly into the tank, using a time bank before announcing a cold four-bet to 235,000.

Auzoux quickly folded, but Brewer made the call.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Spades} and Heath continued for 57,000, which Brewer called.

The duo checked the {2-Clubs} turn, then after the {5-Hearts} fell on the river they each took their time before checking.

Heath showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, but Brewer showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to pip Heath and take a healthy pot.

Juan Pardo raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and Pedro Marques defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Marques check-called a bet of 30,000 from Pardo.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and Marques checked again. Pardo fired out a bet of 145,000 on the turn and Marques still called. The river was the {j-Spades} and Marques checked for the third time. Pardo announced all in and Marques went through four of his time banks before laying his hand down.
