Grafton Doubles Through Thanarattrakul

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Following a raise in middle position to 12,000 from Sam Grafton and a call from Nikita Kuznetsov in the hijack, Kannapong Thanarattrakul moved all in for 145,000.

Grafton called for slightly less and Kuznetsov folded.

Sam Grafton: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Kannapong Thanarattrakul: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Grafton was at risk but had the superior ace, and once the board had completed {2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, the PokerStars Ambassador had secured a double-up while leaving Thanarattrakul on fumes.

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jules Dickerson
Jules Dickerson

Timothy Adams raised to 13,000 in middle position and was called by Mike Watson on the button. Jules Dickerson reraised to 60,000 in the big blind which got Adams to fold but Watson called.

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Dickerson started with a check. Watson bet 35,000 and Dickerson called to see the {a-Diamonds} on the turn.

Dickerson led out with a bet of 40,000 this time and Watson called. The {5-Hearts} hit the river and both players tapped the table. Dickerson turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Watson was unable to beat it.

Jaffe's Time is Short-Lived

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sam Greenwood raised it up from the hijack and Jonathan Jaffe ripped all in for around 120,000 in the small blind. Greenwood quickly called and the cards were face up.

Jonathan Jaffe: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Sam Greenwood: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Greenwood spiked a queen to take the lead. The {9-Clubs} and {5-Hearts} runout was no help to Jaffe whose time at the table today was short-lived.

Vieira and Dvoress Battle in Blinds

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After a raise to 21,000 in the small blind from Joao Vieira, Daniel Dvoress three-bet to 56,000 in the big blind.

Vieira called to see a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and checked. Dvoress bet 32,000 and Vieira called.

On the {10-Hearts} turn, Vieira checked again, but this time, Dvoress checked back.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Vieira checked once more, and after some thought, Dvoress checked, avoiding Vieira's trap as he showed {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a turned Broadway straight.

Juan Pardo: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

O'Dwyer Doubles Through Vaskaboinikau

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 13,000 in early position and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 35,000 in the cutoff. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau four-bet to 100,000 in the small blind which got Petrangelo to fold. O'Dwyer five-bet ripped for 215,000 and Vaskaboinikau hesitantly called it off.

Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} put O'Dwyer well in front with the best pair of aces and a flush draw. The {4-Spades} on the turn made O'Dwyer's flush and Vaskaboinikau was drawing dead to the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Jaffe tossed in another bet of 25,000 and Hall quickly called again. Jaffe tabled {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} but was defeated by the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Hall.
