O'Dwyer Doubles Through Vaskaboinikau

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 13,000 in early position and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 35,000 in the cutoff. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau four-bet to 100,000 in the small blind which got Petrangelo to fold. O'Dwyer five-bet ripped for 215,000 and Vaskaboinikau hesitantly called it off.

Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} put O'Dwyer well in front with the best pair of aces and a flush draw. The {4-Spades} on the turn made O'Dwyer's flush and Vaskaboinikau was drawing dead to the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Mike Watson raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and Juan Pardo reraised to 42,000 on the button. Watson responded by shoving all in for 350,000 and Pardo snapped him off.

Mike Watson: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Juan Pardo: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} gave Watson the lead with a pair of aces. The {9-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river secured the double-up for Watson.

Vieira and Dvoress Battle in Blinds

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After a raise to 21,000 in the small blind from Joao Vieira, Daniel Dvoress three-bet to 56,000 in the big blind.

Vieira called to see a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and checked. Dvoress bet 32,000 and Vieira called.

On the {10-Hearts} turn, Vieira checked again, but this time, Dvoress checked back.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Vieira checked once more, and after some thought, Dvoress checked, avoiding Vieira's trap as he showed {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a turned Broadway straight.
