Russo's Flopped Set Sends Jobelius Out

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Peter Jobelius was all in for his last 12,500 before the flop, and it was Aurelien Russo looking for the knockout.

Peter Jobelius: A10
Aurelien Russo: 99

It was the classic race, but the K98 flop left Jobelius drawing slim as Russo made a set of nines. The 3 hit the turn, leaving Jobelius drawing dead, and the J river was just a formality as he exited the table.

Vinuela Garcia calls Mamou's Bluff

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Gary Mamou opened to 3,500 from early position. His only caller was Adrian Vinuela Garcia in the big blind.

Vinuela Garcia checked the 64J flop, before calling Mamou's 3,500 continuation-bet.

Both players checked the 3 turn and it went to the river.

It came the 9, which Vinuela Garcia checked. Mamou led out for 11,000, sending Vinuela Garcia into the tank. As The Spainaird eventually put in the 11,000, Mamou graciously said 'good call' and mucked his hand, with Vinuela Garcia scooping an important pot.
