The tournament director has just announced registration has closed for Day 1e. A total of 1,510 players have entered this flight, with 740 currently remaining hoping to find a bag for Day 2.
The prize pool currently stands at a massive €3,504,000.
The last flight of the tournament commences at 6 p.m. this evening, featuring 20-minute blinds.
Running parallel to the live action at the Prague Hilton, the Mini EPT Prague Online series has its opening shuffle up and deal on Tuesday, December 12, and continues through to Sunday, December 17, offering a thrilling lineup of 18 tournaments over six action-packed days, with buy-ins starting at just $1.10.
This series is unmissable because of the staggering $40,000 in added value that PokerStars is injecting into the prize pools.
The highlight of the added value is found in the $5.50 and $55 Mini Main Events scheduled for December 17. The winner of each of these events will walk away with a prestigious Gold Power Pass valued at $10,300, offering the chance to experience the full EPT atmosphere at any future EPT stop.
With about 14,000 in the middle the flop read K♣5♠4♦, and Piotr Wiecek check-raised a bet of 4,500 from Renato Ardelean to 11,500. Ardelean took a few seconds before making the call.
When the 4♣ paired the turn, Wiecek slowed down with a check, and Ardelean fired a bet of 33,000. Wiecek took about 10 seconds and pitched his cards toward the center.
Picking the action up in a three-handed pot on a flop of Q♦10♠J♥ with 9,000 in the middle, Maciej Gut put out a bet from the button of 4,500. Ahmed Hammoud called in the big blind, as did Alexander Norden in the cutoff.
The 10♥ turn was checked through by all three players.
On the 7♦ river, Hammoud fired out a bet of 12,000, which forced folds from both his opponents.
Vincent Cosme shoved for his last 7,200 from early position and was called by Sivan Mirani from directly behind to put Cosme at risk. Everyone else folded and hands were revealed.
Vincent Cosme: 2♥2♦
Sivan Mirani: A♣Q♣
It was a coinflip, but the A♦K♠6♦ flop paired Mirani's ace for a commanding lead.
The Q♥ turn and 9♥ river left Mirani with two pair and Cosme was eliminated.
Stylianos Bougioukas raised to 2,700 from under the gun, then Lucas Sandstrom to his left three-bet to 7,300. Georgios Karakousis called from the cutoff, but De Han Kim four-bet all in for 26,900 from the small blind.
Action back to him, Bougioukas with the biggest stack of the table moved all in too and made Sandstrom fold. Karakousis went into the tank, and eventually called for his last 31,000 chips.
De Han Kim: K♠K♣
Georgios Karakousis: 8♦8♠
Stylianos Bougioukas: J♦J♥
The board of A♦5♠A♥7♥6♠ changed nothing, so Kim tripled up while Karakousis was eliminated.
Gary Mamou opened 2,700 and Umur Akinci called next to act before Samuiel Stan three-bet to 12,400 in the cutoff. Frank Stumpf was in the small blind and pushed his entire stack across the line.
Mamou quickly folded, followed by Akinci. Stan took a bit longer as he asked for a count. After being told it was 44,600 he tossed his cards into the muck.
The action was joined preflop just as Max Bashlawi shoved in the small blind. Bulcsu Lukacs instantly called, flipping over aces - much to the dismay of the Englishman.
Bulcsu Lukacs: A♦A♣
Max Bashlawi: 5♠5♣
A flop of 6♥Q♣A♠ buried Bashlawi, who needed to hit running fives to beat Lukacs' set of aces.
The 6♣ came on the turn, giving Lukacs the win.
An inconsequential 9♠ hit on the river, confirming the double up and leaving Bashlawi with just 11,000 chips.
