Odman Can't Connect as He's Sent to the Rail

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players brewed a pot of 9,700 and the flop read AK7. Michail Simos checked, and Sergio Somma fired a bet of 3,000 across the line before Adam Odman raised to 7,500. The action was back on Simos who moved all-in, forcing Somma to fold while Odman called off his stack of about 13,500.

Adam Odman: Q10
Michail Simos: K7

Odman flopped a straight and flush draw but was unable to connect as the board completed with the 3 turn and 9 river.

Starostin was ahead, but the 854 flop gave Mamou a pair of fours.

Staniszewski Sends Ganglbauer Out

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Nobert Staniszewski opened to 2,500 from middle position and action folded to Markus Ganglbauer in the big blind, who shoved for approximately 12,000 from the big blind. Staniszewski asked for a count and then called to put Ganglbauer at risk.

Markus Ganglbauer: 55
Nobert Staniszewski: 66

Ganglbauer would need some help with his underpair, but the A2486 runout needlessly improved Staniszewski to a set and Ganglbauer was eliminated.

Stagliano Soaring

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action was joined on the A5K flop, as Toni Kaukua led out for 2,000 from the hijack. He was called in the cutoff by Giovanni Stagliano and it went to a turn.

Kaukua slowed down as the A came on the turn, choosing to check. Stagliano took the initiative and bet 2,000, which was called.

The Finn checked again on the 7 river before Stagliano instantly threw out a 5,000 chip. Kaukua tanked for a while before reluctantly folding his cards, ensuring the Italian added a decent-sized pot to his stack.
