Stumbo Out With Tens

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Anthony Stumbo started the action under the gun, opening to 7,500. The small blind called, while Enrico Camosci raised to 20,000 from the big blind. Stumbo shoved all in before the small blind got out of the way. Camosci snap-called with his Belgian opponent at risk.

Anthony Stumbo: 1010
Enrico Camosci: AK

Stumbo still led on the flop, with the board coming 329.

A K on the turn, however, put him on the brink of elimination.

His exit was confirmed as the 7 landed on the river.

Mikolaitis Doubles Through Pardo

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Dominykas Mikolaitis and Juan Pardo were heads-up on a 4910 flop with several thousand already in the middle.

Mikolaitis checked to Pardo, who bet 10,000. Mikolaitis then check-raised to 33,000 and Pardo called.

Both players checked on the A turn and Mikolaitis announced he was all in for 49,000 total after the 8 completed the board.

Pardo went deep into the tank, but eventually stuck in a calling chip after a couple of minutes.

Mikolaitis tabled AJ for a pair of aces, which was best against Pardo's J9 for a pair of nines and Mikolaitis doubled up.

Shimizu Trips up Talbot

Level 6 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nozomu Shimizu opened to 5,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 16,000 by Parker Talbot in the cutoff. Action folded back to Shimizu, who tossed in a call.

Shimizu check-called a 4,000 bet from Talbot on the KKJ flop and then both players checked on the 5 turn.

The 9 completed the board and action checked down again. Shimizu turned over K4 for trip kings.

"Whew, I didn't think of that one," Talbot said as he mucked — awarding the pot to Shimizu.
