Nadal Hangs Tough Against Berthelot

Level 34 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Santiago Nadal raised to 850,000 from the small blind and Sylvain Berthelot called from the big blind.

Nadal check-called a 625,000 bet from Berthelot on the KA10 flop and checked again after the J brought a four-liner on board. Berthelot sized up for a bet of 1,150,000 and Nadal again called.

The A completed the board and Nadal checked a final time. Berthelot rapped the table after thinking a while and Nadal turned over A9 for trip aces. Berthelot sent his hand into the muck and Nadal dragged the pot.
