Karrim Doubles Through Lin After Roller Coaster Runout

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ahmed Karrim shoved from the hijack for 17,000 and Ren Lin called from the cutoff with a covering stack to put Karrim at risk.

Ahmed Karrim: A9All in
Ren Lin: A8

Karrim was in good shape to double up with the bigger ace although the KK7 flop increased the likelihood of a chop. That all changed when Lin took the lead on the 8 turn although Karrim picked up the nut-flush draw. The flush came right in on the 2 river and Karrim scored the double up through Lin.

Miracle Runout Saves Zamani

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Umberto Ruggeri opened to 4,000 from under the gun before Martin Zamani jammed for 56,500 from the hijack. Ruggeri thought for a moment before he put in the call and the cards hit their backs.

Martin Zamani: 99 All in
Umberto Ruggeri: AQ

It was a coinflip scenario with Zamani having the slight edge. The K76 flop gave Ruggeri the nut flush and left Zamani drawing almost dead as he got up from his chair and grabbed his bag.

However, the K on the turn paired the board and gave Zamani some outs. In miraculous fashion, the K peeled off on the river, giving Zamani a full house as the table erupted at the absurdity of the runout. Zamani sat back down and collected his double as Ruggeri took a photo of the board in shock.

No Showdown for Franchi

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Malcolm Franchi opened 4,000 in the cutoff and both Miguel Abad on the button and Sergi Miralles in the big blind made the call.

When the A72 flop hit the felt, the action checked to Abad who dropped a bet of 4,500 across the line. Miralles quickly folded, while Franchi stuck around with a call.

The K turn was checked through to see the 10 on the river, and Franchi fired 31,000 into the middle. Abad thought it over for a few moments, and decided to let his hand go.
