Petrangelo Puts on the Pressure

Davies Raises Big on the River

Seth Davies bet 8,000 from under the gun on a flop of A97 and Jesse Lonis called in the hijack.

Both players checked the Q turn. Davies also checked the Q river and Lonis bet 12,500.

Davies used a time bank before emerging with a raise to 90,000. Lonis quickly folded.

Jean-Noel Thorel and Mike Watson both jumped back into the field.

Santerne rechecked his cards before four-betting to 47,000. Astedt fought back, five-bet jamming for his effective stack of approximately 150,000. Santerne was forced to fold.

Greenwood used up three time bank cards before he folded. "Show ace-king of spades," Sean Winter said to Mokri, but to no avail as Mokri returned his cards face down.

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 5,500 from the hijack, Steve O'Dwyer three-bet on the button to 20,000 and Vladimir Korzinin cold-called in the big blind. Thorel also made the call.

The 710J flop checked through to the 10 turn and the 2 river. Korzinin checked, prompting Thorel to take the lead for 25,000. O'Dwyer made a quick call, as did Korzinin.

Thorel tabled 109 for a pair of tens, while O'Dwyer claimed this pot with 65 for a flush. Korzinin elected to muck.

O'Dwyer Cracks Korzinin's Aces to Double

Korzinin called with AA, but O'Dwyer had 75 for a flopped straight to win the pot and double up.

Santerne slowed down with a check on the 2Q8 flop. Astedt took the lead for 9,000.

Before Santerne could even fully verbalise his raise, Astedt had already snap-folded.

Mokri Runs Pure Against Coleman

David Coleman had just taken his seat in the tournament when he saw the turn on a board of J8Q7 against Kayhan Mokri. Mokri then bet 15,000 from under the gun and Coleman called in the big blind.

The river was the Q and Mokri bet 50,000. Coleman called once more and Mokri showed 88 for a full house to win the pot.

"I remember I run so good against you," Mokri told Coleman.
