Petrangelo Fires at Astedt

Nick Petrangelo bet 3,500 from the cutoff on a flop of Q108 and Niklas Astedt called in the big blind.

Petrangelo bet another 21,000 on the J turn and Astedt again called. The river was the 4 and Petrangelo fired out 63,000.

Astedt burned through multiple time banks before eventually calling as Petrangelo turned over 97 for a straight to win the big pot.

Mulder Puts O'Dwyer to the Test

Teun Mulder raised to 6,000 from under the gun, receiving calls from the button, small blind and big blind.

All four players checked the 5KJ flop through to the 4 on the turn. Steve O'Dwyer, in the big blind, took the lead for 11,000. Mulder raised to 45,000 and only O'Dwyer called.

The 10 river saw O'Dwyer play in flow. Mulder placed a bet large enough to put O'Dwyer all in for his effective stack of approximately 135,000, earning a snap-fold.

Niklas Astedt raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Mikael Thuritz three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Astedt called.

The 45Q flop checked through to the 9 on the turn and the 6 on the river. Both players checked to a showdown.

"Ace-king," announced Thuritz, prompting Astedt to table 33 for an unpair to the board; good enough to take down this pot.

Kayhan Mokri and Santhosh Suvarna built a pot of around 90,000 as they saw a flop of 974. Mokri then bet 30,000 from the cutoff and Suvarna called on the button.

The turn was the 9 and Mokri bet another 35,000. Suvarna quickly folded and Mokri added to his big stack.

In a blind versus blind battle, Mikael Thuritz bet 15,000 on a flop of Q105 and Mike Watson called.

The turn was the A and Thuritz bet 19,000. Watson again called and the 10 fell on the river. Thuritz then moved all in and Watson called for around 50,000 more.

Thuritz showed 105 for a full house and Watson tossed J10 into the muck as he made his way to the rail.
