Patrik Antonius

Jamil Wakil opened to 13,000 first-to-act with K10 and was called by Patrik Antonius in the big blind with J2 for a heads-up pot.

The 910A flop improved both players and Antonius check-called an 18,000 bet from Wakil with his flush draw.

The 8 fell on the turn and both players checked.

The 8 river gave Antonius the winning hand with a flush and he fired an overbet of 100,000 into the middle.

Wakil didn't take long to let his hand go and Antonius collected the pot.

Grafton Explodes as Orpaz Doubles Blind

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tom Orpaz
Tom Orpaz

Blind on blind, Tom Orpaz limped blind and Sam Grafton raised. Orpaz called without looking at his cards.

The pair checked the Q104 flop and the turn was the 4. Orpaz bet 15,000 — again, without looking — and Grafton called.

The river was the J. Orpaz quickly bet 35,000. Grafton then raised enough to put Orpaz all in.

"Please look before you call!" Grafton said, with Orpaz needing to call his last 160,000.

Orpaz peeled his first and then his second card before calling. Grafton tabled AK for an ace-high straight, with Orpaz showing 104 for a full house.

"Wowwwww," said Grafton loudly, getting up from the table in shock. "You bet blind!"

The neighboring tables all circled around as the action was recounted.

"I looked at the ten and was calling with the ten!" said Orpaz.

"And I felt sorry for you when you called!" said Grafton, who took the beat surprisingly well.

Antonius Keeps his Foot on the Gas

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Byron Kaverman opened to 13,000 from under the gun with 88 and was three-bet to 40,000 by Patrik Antonius on the button with AQ. Action folded back to Kaverman, who called.

The flop came 1066 and Kaverman check-called a 20,000 bet from Antonius.

The J turn gave Antonius a gutshot to Broadway and he fired 55,000 into the middle after Kaverman checked a second time.

Kaverman tossed his hand into the muck and Antonius was sent the pot.
