Following the successful return of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in Las Vegas last year, PokerStars announced in May that the NAPT will return to Resorts World, Las Vegas, this November for another ten-day poker extravaganza.

The series is highlighted by the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event, which has a $5,300 buy-in. Last year's champion, Sami Bechahed, topped the 1,095-entry field and took home a substantial $268,945.

For those who missed out last year or looking to have a second bite of the cherry, you'll be pleased to know that you can secure your seat in the Main Event for a fraction of the buy-in.

Berthold Winz opened to 800,000 from the hijack and Bernat Carreras three-bet shoved for 1,600,000 from the cutoff. Winz called with a covering stack to put Carreras at risk.

Anton Kraous opened to 500,000 in early position and was met with a three-bet jam to 2,200,000 by Jan-Eric Schwippert from the cutoff. Action folded back to Kraous, who called.

Grzegorz Kozieja opened to 600,000 and was called by Anton Kraous on the button, and Ronald Steinmetz defended in the big blind.

On the 9♣3♠3♥ flop, Steinmetz checked, and Kozieja slid out a bet of 500,000. Only Kraous called.

The 7♥ turn was checked through. On the 6♥ river, Kozieja fired out a bet of 750,000 and was called by Kraous.

Kozieja showed K♠7♠ for a pair of sevens, but Kraous had J♥J♦ for a pair of jacks.

Hugues Girard shoved from the button for 2,700,000 and Grzegorz Kozieja called from the small blind with a covering stack. Hugues Girard then shoved from the big blind for around 12,000,000. Kozieja contemplated his options for a few minutes before opting to fold leaving Girard at risk against Winz.

The flop came J♦7♠4♠ and Winz fired a 1,500,000 continuation bet that was called by Kraous.

Winz checked on the 9♦ turn and Kraous bet 2,500,000. Winz made the call.

Both players checked the 5♥ river. Kraous showed a pair of tens with 10♣10♦ which was enough to take down a colossal pot while cutting Kraous' stack roughly in half.
