Valverde Spikes the River to Knock Out La Scala

Francesco La Scala opened to 60,000 from early position and Fernando Valverde three-bet shoved for 600,000 from the big blind. La Scala, who only had about 220,000 behind, went into the tank with a pay jump looming. Eventually Valverde called the clock and La Scala waited until just three seconds were remaining before sticking in the rest of his stack to put himself at risk.
