Tomasz Chmiel: J9All in

Set Over Set Ends Sheils' Tournament

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Brandon Sheils got his last 400,000 into the middle preflop with Daniel Rezaei the player to put him at risk of elimination,

Brandon Sheils: 1010 All in
Daniel Rezaei: KK

Sheils asked the dealer for "a ten ball, corner pocket," which the dealer delivered as the window card was the 10. The only problem for Sheils was that it was closely followed by the K2 to complete the flop, giving both players a set. The dealer didn't comply with Sheils' second request for a ten as the rest of the board ran out 25. Both players hit a full house, but Rezaei's kings-full-of-deuces was the best hand and Sheils was sent to the showers.

Nasreddine's Set of Aces Send Chauskin to the Rail

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Rania Nasreddine
Rania Nasreddine

Mitchell Garshofsky opened from middle position and was three-bet by Natan Chauskin out of the small blind. Rania Nasreddine chose to cold-call from the big blind, but Garshofsky folded.

With roughly 1,000,000 in the pot on a flop of A52, Chauskin led out for 250,000 and was met with a quick raise to 500,000 by Nasreddine. Chauskin then three-bet-shoved for roughly 1,400,000 and was snap-called by Nasreddine.

Natan Chauskin: AQ All in
Rania Nasreddine: AA

Nasreddine had slow-played pocket aces and flopped top set against the top pair of Chauskin, who would only stay in the tournament if he hit running cards to split the pot. However, the J on the turn cemented Chauskin's elimination from the tournament as an inconsequential Q came on the river.

In a preflop confrontation Saymon Dias was all in for 615,000 from the cutoff and up against Jan-Eric Schwippert who had him covered from the small blind.

Saymon Dias: A7 All in
Jan-Eric Schwippert: A10

The board ran out 58JJ9. Neither player connected with the board and Schwippert was good at showdown with ace-ten-high to send Dias to the rail and take the pot.

Sampirisi Busts Garcia

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Murilo Garcia was all in from the hijack and heads up against Sampirisi in the cutoff.

Murilo Garcia: Ax9xAll in
Alex Sampirisi: KK

Garcia needed some help from the board to stay in the tournament but the help didn't come on the 24Q flop.

The luck didn't improve for Garcia on the 9 turn or the K river, and he was eliminated in 39th place just before the break.

Incredible Cooler Sees Dicu Score Double-Knockout

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Marian Dicu
Marian Dicu

In a three-way preflop confrontation Ivan Zhechev was all in from the cutoff for around 800,000 and Jordan Sparagana was all in from blinds for a bit more. They were at risk against Marian Dicu in middle position, who had started the hand with a bit over 1,100,000.

Ivan Zhechev: KK All in
Jordan Sparagana: KK All in
Marian Dicu: AA

Dicu was in unbelievably good shape with pocket aces against two opponents who each had pocket kings, needing only to avoid four hearts, four diamonds or a straight runout to triple up. He did just that when the board came 32696. Dicu dragged in a pot worth nearly three million in chips while both Zhechev and Sparagana made their exit from the tournament area in brutal fashion.

Renato Grossi

Renato Grossi got the last of his chips in the middle preflop, and Davide Schianchi made the call to try to send him to the rail.

Renato Grossi: 66 All in
Davide Schianchi: AK

Grossi needed to win this classic race to stay in the tournament. However, the runout of A9334 gave Schianchi the winner with a pair of aces, and Grossi was out.

Wang Loses a Race to Bust

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Davide Schianchi raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Michael Wang shoved for roughly 600,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Schianchi called to put Wang at risk.

Michael Wang: 77 All in
Davide Schianchi: AQ

The flop of A5J put Schianchi firmly in the lead with a pair of aces. The A turn and 5 river improved Schianchi to a full house and eliminated Wang from the tournament.

Thomas Eychenne: QQAll in
