Sfez Raises Astedt on River

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was on the flop on a board of Q73 and Niklas Astedt bet 600. Only Eric Sfez called the bet. Both players then quickly checked back on the 2 turn.

The river was the 7 and Astedt led for 1,500. Sfez raised it up to 20,000 and Astedt folded to concede the pot.

Cantos Check-Shoves the Turn

Jordan Cutter opened from middle position to 900 and was called by Simon Wiciak, Olga Iermolcheva from the button, and Jorge Cantos out of the big blind.

All four players checked the 688 flop to see the J come on the turn. Once the action checked to Iermolcheva, she bet 2,800 and was met by an immediate check-raise shove for 13,800 by Cantos. All three of Cantos' opponents folded and the pot was awarded to him.

With 2,500 in the middle the flop read J65, and Lucia Navarro checked from under the gun to Diego Beirigo on the button who fired 900. Navarro responded with a check-raise to 4,000, and Beirigo made the call.

When the 3 hit the turn, Navarro continued for 8,000. Beirigo eyed Navarro's remaining stack for a moment and made the call.

The 8 completed the board on the river and Navarro didn't slow down, jamming for 16,900. Beirigo went into the tank for about a minute before mucking.

Bjorn Kozenkai raised from the button and Ibrahim Kiriakus moved all in from the big blind for 9,500. Kozenkai called and had his opponent covered as players flipped their cards.

An A fell on the turn where Romanello checked and Wozniak shoved for around 8,000. Both Ruzicic and Romanello quickly folded.

Neiva led out for 1,900 when the A appeared on the turn and once again, Epparla called.

With around 16,000 in the pot on a flop of 272, Gianluca Cedolia check-called a bet of 3,000 from Gustavo Morales.

Both players checked the 7 turn for the 8 to come on the river. Cedolia checked and Morales shoved for 18,500. Cedolia thought it over for quite some time. Eventually, he reluctantly called.

Morales flipped over AA for a pair of aces, which won him the pot as Cedolia turned over 1010 for a lower overpair to the board.
