Coleman Ruins Rubiralta's Tournament

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

With a lot of chips in the middle on a board of A5624, David Coleman had checked from under the gun and faced a bet of 32,500 from Gerard Rubiralta, who was sat in the hijack. After a few moments, Coleman shoved for 61,900. Coleman's shove sent Rubiralta deep into thought, thinking for roughly two minutes. Eventually, Rubiralta made the call.

Coleman turned over A4 for two pair, aces and fours. Rubiralta couldn't beat that as he showed AK just a pair of aces, and almost all of his chips were sent over to Coleman.

Camarda Goes Runner-Runner to Survive

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Naoki Yashiro raised, then Salvatore Camarda stuck his short stack of around 5,000 into the middle from the next seat. When it got back to Yashiro, he called.

Salvatore Camarda: AK All in
Naoki Yashiro: 44

Camarda had a good view of the flop and saw that Yashiro improved to a set before anybody else on the 42Q board, which prompted him to stand up and gather his belongings. A J on the turn did give him some outs and he found one of them as the 10 completed his Broadway draw which kept him alive.

Three-Way Cooler Favors Moene

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Vedat Mutlu opened 2,200 under the gun, and Jelle Moene three-bet to 5,500 from a couple of spots to his left. Jan Zeuschner was in the small blind and jammed for about 12,000 before Mutlu announced all in as well, and Moene called off his stack of 42,700.

Jan Zeuschner: KK All in
Jelle Moene: AA All in
Vedat Mutlu: QQ

It was the ultimate preflop cooler, and the 87722 runout meant Moene's aces were good, sending Zeuschner to the rail and doubing through Mutlu.

Hector Berry: JJ All in
Gaspare Sposato: A10

Alvarez's Mood Goes From Delight to Dismay as Bastida Scoops Three-Way All In

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Juan Bastida
Juan Bastida

A three-way all in pot played out between Cristian Alvarez, Nicola Spallanzani, and Juan Bastida with two of the players sharing the same hand.

Juan Bastida: AK All in
Cristian Alvarez: QQ All in
Nicola Spallanzani: AK

It was a dream scenario for Alvarez, who only needed to win a flip to almost triple up. Spallanzani had the biggest stack, but it seemed unlikely that he could scoop the pot unless the board brought some surprises.

A flop of 36J was safe for Alvarez, but Bastida did pick up the nut flush draw. An A on the turn sunk Alvarez as he was drawing to just one out, but left Bastida delighted as he was freerolling for the main pot. Bastida spiked his flush on the 6 river and thumped the table in celebration, as Alvarez was sent to the rail.

When the 9 completed the board, Tajiou checked for a final time. This time Valeriano checked-back. Tajiou rolled Q10 for queen-high before Valeriano rolled his JJ to take the pot.
