Coleman Ruins Rubiralta's Tournament

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

With a lot of chips in the middle on a board of A♥5♠6♥2♣4♦, David Coleman had checked from under the gun and faced a bet of 32,500 from Gerard Rubiralta, who was sat in the hijack. After a few moments, Coleman shoved for 61,900. Coleman's shove sent Rubiralta deep into thought, thinking for roughly two minutes. Eventually, Rubiralta made the call.

Coleman turned over A♣4♣ for two pair, aces and fours. Rubiralta couldn't beat that as he showed A♦K♥ just a pair of aces, and almost all of his chips were sent over to Coleman.

Allen Out in Two

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Players were already on a 7♦10♦9♣ flop when Yassine Baqal raised from the cutoff and Michael Allen moved all in for around 35,000 from the big blind. Baqal called and the players flipped their cards.

Yassine Baqal: 9♠10♠All in
Michael Allen: Q♣Q♦

Baqal had flopped two pair and Allen was looking to improve. The K♠ gave some hope for Allen, but he missed the straight draw when the 5♣ was placed on the river.

He was left with around 600 chips and was nearly forced all in on the next hand, being in the small blind.

Michael Allen: 10♦3♦
Opponent: J♦J♠

Allen quickly stood after seeing the J♣8♠8♣ flop, and was seen leaving the tournament as the 10♥ turn and 8♥ river were placed on the table.

Baldini Folds to Bain's River Shove

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With roughly 12,000 chips in the middle on a board of Q♦5♠A♦4♠, Claudio Baldini checked and Tristan Bain fired 4,000. Baldini called.

A 6♦ came on the river and Baldini checked again, only for Bain to shove. Baldini had 20,000 behind and needed to put them all to use if he wanted to see his opponent's hole cards. However, Baldini didn't want to put his tournament life at risk and found the fold, meaning the pot went in Bain's direction.
