Madene Rivers a Full House Against Wiciak

There were around 70,000 chips in the pot in a board of 10♣6♥3♠3♦ when Nolan Madene checked, and Simon Wiciak bet 55,000. After some deliberation, Madene called.

A 6♣ on the river double-paired the board and Madene checked once again. Wiciak didn't need to think for too long and elected to check back, then saw the bad news as Madene tabled 5♥3♥ for a full house. The reigning champion still has a very healthy stack of around 475,000, which is almost 100 big blinds.

Stok Takes Most of Nasreddine's Chips

Rania Nasreddine raised to 10,000 from late position, Sven Stok called from the next seat across, and Dennis Schrijvers called in the big blind.

The flop came 9♥4♠2♠ and action checked to Stok, who bet 12,000. Both Schrijvers and Nasreddine called. The turn was the A♦ and players once again checked to Stok, who sized up to 60,000. Schrijvers folded and Nasreddine called.

The river was the 7♣ and Nasreddine checked. Stok moved all in for 232,000 and Nasreddine glanced across before flicking in a chip to make the call.

Nasreddine had A♥4♦ for two pair, aces and fours. Stok turned over A♣9♣ for a higher two pair, aces and nines to win the pot, doubling his stack and taking most of Nasreddine's chips.

Wiciak Shoves the River on Lodge

Simon Wiciak raised to 10,000 in the cutoff, Harry Lodge three-bet to 27,000 on the button, and Wiciak called.

The flop came A♥6♥6♠ and Lodge bet 12,000. Wiciak then raised to 55,000 and Lodge called.

Wiciak bet another 60,000 on the 2♣ turn and Lodge again called. Cameras began to surround the table with a big pot brewing as the 4♦ fell on the river. Wiciak then moved all in.

Lodge had around 110,000 remaining and tanked for a minute before eventually folding as the defending champion took down the pot without a showdown.

Schwippert Cracks Two Sets to Triple

Three-handed on a board of 5♦3♦2♦, Jan Eric Schwippert moved all in for 70,000 in the small blind and was called by Aleksei Savenkov under the gun and Marcin Baranski in early position.

The turn was the 4♥ and Savenkov bet 16,000. Baranski called to create a side pot, and both he and Savenkov checked down the K♦ river.

Savenkov showed 2♥2♣ for a set of deuces, Baranski had 3♠3♣ for a set of threes, but Schwippert turned over 6♠4♦ for a flopped straight that improved to a flush on the river to earn him a triple up.

"Four-high flush. Oh my God. Did you like the river?" tablemate Haoran Cai asked him after the hand.

"I liked the river, but I wanted to make a straight flush," Schwippert replied.

Hansen Spikes the River to Bust Laka

In a blind versus blind battle, David Laka bet 28,000 on a board of 9♠3♥8♠2♥ before Sindre Hansen moved all in. Laka let out a loud sigh and ended up calling for around 80,000.

Laka showed 6♠3♠ for a pair and a flush draw, while Hansen had A♥4♥ for straight and flush draws. The Q♥ fell on the river and Hansen completed his flush to send Laka to the rail.

Talbot Shoves Twice, Gets Looked Up Once

Parker Talbot raised to 9,000 in middle position and Adria Colomina called in the big blind.

Talbot continued for 5,000 on the 7♥7♦3♣ flop and Colomina raised to 14,000. Talbot then moved all in for 60,000.

Colomina used up a time bank before folding as Talbot took the pot.

The next hand, Balakrishna Patur three-bet to 22,000 on the button and Talbot moved all in again, this time for 99,000 in early position. Patur called to put him at risk.

With around 75,000 in the pot on a flop of 7♦8♦6♥, Jack Sinclair checked it over to Toni Kaukua, who bet 44,000. Sinclair thought for a few moments before he shoved his stack of 190,000 into the pot, and Kaukua called.

Sinclair was in the lead with his bullets but Kaukua did have a gutshot straight draw which gave him a few extra outs. The Finnish player never managed to connect with the 4♥8♥ runout which meant he was left with just 20,000 in his stack, while Sinclair jumped up the counts with around 450,000.
