Chaoui Calls Flop Three-Bet, Makes Quads

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Mehdi Chaoui
Mehdi Chaoui

Arriving on a flop of 7510, Xiaosheng Zheng made a bet of 5,500 from early position. Mehdi Chaoui then raised to 18,000 in the cutoff before Umberto Ruggeri bumped it up to 30,500 on the button.

Zheng quickly got out of the way but Chaoui called after spending a time bank. The 5 fell on the turn and saw Ruggeri size down to 12,000. Chaoui tossed in a quick call, after which the A river went check-check.

Chaoui was first to show and tabled 55 for quad fives. Ruggeri could not beat the nuts and swiftly added his cards to the muck as he saw the pot being shipped to Chaoui.

Stankov Doubles Through Winz

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

There were around 25,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 945 when Berthold Winz checked, and Ivan Stankov bet 11,000. Winz then shoved, and Stankov snap-called his stack of just under 50,000.

Ivan Stankov: QQ All in
Berthold Winz: A7

Winz had been caught bluffing, but did have outs as any ace would see him propel into the lead. However, no ace appeared as the runout of J9 kept Stankov's pocket queens in the lead, and he doubled up.

Casimir Seire

There were already around 24,000 chips in the pot on a board of 5J8 when Casimir Seire fired 7,000 out of the small blind, and Aleksandr Timoshenko called on the button.

Both checked the Q turn to the board-pairing J river where Timoshenko checked, and Seire bet enough to put his opponent all-in. Timoshenko thought about it for a while but eventually tossed his cards away, which left him with around 32,000 in his stack.
