Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Stephen Song
Stephen Song

EPT Barcelona Main Event champ Stephen Song opened to 4,000 from early position, and Mathieu Di Meglio defended in the big blind.

On the Q95 flop, Di Meglio check-called versus a bet of 6,500 from Song.

The K turn followed the same pattern, this time in respect of a 15,000 bet from Song.

On the 5 river, Song sized up when checked to him, firing out a bet of 55,000. After around 90 seconds of thought, Di Meglio sent his hand into the muck.

Lin Uses All Time-Banks, Comes to Wrong Conclusion

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jianwei Lin
Jianwei Lin

Masashi Oya had opened the cutoff and Jianwei Lin three-bet from the small blind before Oya four-bet to 33,000. Lin called.

They went to a flop of 76Q where Lin check-called a bet of 18,000 from Oya to the 4 turn, which went check-check.

A 10 dropped on the river and Lin fired 35,000, leaving himself around 40,000 behind. Oya then shoved, which sent Lin deep into the tank. After using all five of his time-bank cards, Lin eventually tossed in the call, which left him at risk.

Oya flipped 98 for the nut straight, and Lin was forced to show he made the call with KQ for top pair, which meant he was eliminated.

Simon Mattsson opened to 4,500 and Erik Bauer shoved from the small blind for around 40,000. When it got back to Mattsson, he called.

Erik Bauer: 66 All in

"A six is coming, I feel it," said Bauer, who won this event last month at EPT Barcelona.

The dealer didn't agree with Bauer, as the 227J3 runout meant he was eliminated, and Mattsson took the pot.

Shylko Busts Kirichenko

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Aliaksandr Shylko
Aliaksandr Shylko

Aleksandr Kirichenko was getting up out of his chair, looking pretty disgusted with the poker gods after losing his last 50,000, and with good reason after his AK was bested by Aliaksandr Shylko's 1010 on 646A10, Shylko having rivered a two-outer full house to take the pot from Kirichenko's turned two pair aces and sixes.

Adrian Mateos jammed his last 13,500 into the middle from the hijack with Masashi Oya calling from the big blind.

Adrian Mateos: QJ All in
Masashi Oya: 109

The 8J4 flop gave Mateos top pair, but Oya had a straight draw. The 9 turn gave Oya some additional outs as the A fell on the river and Mateos' pair of jacks earned him the double.

Marc Foggin opened to 4,000 from the cutoff and was met with a three-bet to 15,000 by Pascal Hartmann on the button. Action folded back to Foggin, who called.
