Patrick Leonard raised to 40,000 from the hijack with just 1,000 behind. Zhendong Li called from the cutoff and Dennis Schrijvers called out of the small blind.

The flop of 4♣5♦10♣ was checked to Li and he bet 75,000. Schrijvers folded, but Leonard called for his last yellow T-1000 chip.

Both players had flopped top pair, but it was Li's king-kicker that put him way ahead. The K♦ turn left Leonard drawing dead to the two pair of Li, as the J♦ came on the river and Leonard was out of the tournament.

Ponakovs Raises Kudzmanas on the River; Mustafov Survives Against Bryksin

Heads up on a flop of 10♥3♥2♠, Aleksejs Ponakovs bet 15,000 from the button and Marius Kudzmanas raised to 56,000 in the big blind. Ponakovs called and the 5♣ fell on the turn. Kudzmanas bet 140,000 and Ponakovs called.

The river was the 6♥ and Kudzmanas bet 45,000. Ponakovs raised to 380,000 and Kudzmanas used a few of his time banks before folding.

At another table, Alexander Zubov raised to 25,000 in the hijack and Ivan Bryksin called in the small blind. Fahredin Mustafov moved all in for 127,000 from the big blind and only Bryksin called.

Thr action checked through when the 10♣ hit the turn and the 5♥ fell on the river. Neychev checked and then faced a bet of 50,000 from Kudzmanas. Neychev thought it over briefly before tossing his cards into the muck

Elias Gutierrez and Manuel Carvalho went heads up to a flop of Q♥Q♠4♦ when Gutierrez bet 15,000 from middle position. Carvalho raised to 40,000 in the small blind and Gutierrez called.

Both players checked the 8♣ turn and the Q♣ fell on the river. Carvalho checked again and Gutierrez grabbed a tower of 25,000 chips and slammed it into the middle. Carvalho instantly folded.

Thomas Eychenne raised to 20,000 from early position and Yassin Mahmoud three-bet to 52,000 from the hijack. When it folded back to him, Eychenne called.

Eychenne check-called a small bet of 15,000 from Mahmoud on the K♣4♠2♦ flop.

The turn came the J♥ and Eychenne check-called another bet from Mahmoud, this time for 23,000.

Both players checked when the A♥ hit the river and Eychenne turned over A♦Q♥ for a pair of aces. Mahmoud showed the same hand with A♣Q♠ and the pot was chopped.

Ren Lin raised to 20,000 in the hijack and Roman Hrabec called in the big blind.

Both players checked to the turn on a board of 2♥6♦5♣9♦ when Hrabec bet 18,000. Lin called and the 4♦ fell on the river.

Hrabec then bet 30,000 and Lin raised to 100,000. Hrabec moved all in and Lin snap-called for 271,000.

"Queen-high," Hrabec said, showing Q♥10♣. Lin turned over K♦J♦ for a rivered flush as he took the pot to double up.

"This isn't GG, this is the EPT. My man, why you bluff so much? No respect," Lin said.

At the same time on another table, Aleksejs Ponakovs and Manuel Fritz went to the turn on a board of K♣5♥J♠4♠ with around 120,000 in the pot when Ponakovs moved all in from the small blind. Fritz snap-called for around 140,000 in the cutoff with A♦A♠, while Ponakovs had K♥Q♣. The 7♦ river was safe for Fritz and he doubled up.
