Ivan Kuziv raised to 100,000 in the cutoff, leaving himself 35,000 behind, and Boris Tabiyev moved all in from the small blind. Kuziv stared at the tournament clock as he burned through a few time banks and eventually committed the rest of his chips.

Action folded back to Ivanov, who took some time to think before four-bet jamming for around 165,000 total. After some thought Tsouloftas made the call with the covering stack.

Ivanov was ahead with his pocket nines, and remained so after the K105 flop, although his opponent also picked up a gutshot to go with his overcards.

The A rolled off on the turn to put Tsouloftas ahead, and Ivanov could not find the required nine on the 7 river. Ivanov tapped the table and wished his opponents good luck as he departed.

"I feel a nine is coming," said Schneiders, but unfortunately his feeling was wrong as neither the 4 turn nor A river could bail him out, which meant he was eliminated.

Schneiders was interviewed by PokerStars TV after the hand. "It was a nice run while it lasted. My deepest one yet in an EPT Main Event. Now it's off to Prague," Schneiders said.

Astedt Loses Consecutive Hands to Bust

In a hand between Niklas Astedt under the gun and Eleftherios Sinnos in the big blind, around 45,000 was in the middle on a board of Q939.

Sinnos led out with a bet of 16,000 and Astedt called.

The 4 river completed the board, and Sinnos fired out a bet of 60,000. Astedt went into the tank, with about 110,000 behind, and after burning through three timebanks he made the call.

Sinnos showed 97 for the turned trip nines, and Astedt mucked.

In the next hand, action folded to Christopher Nguyen on the button, who opened to 15,000, with Astedt defending the big blind.

On the KQJ flop, Astedt check-called versus a 50,000 bet covering his remaining stack.

They went to a flop of J10Q where Taylor fired a continuation-bet of 12,000. which [Removed:549] called.

A 4 landed on the turn and again Taylor bet, this time with a sizing of 28,000. [Removed:549] called.

When the 8 completed the runout, Taylor shoved, which gave [Removed:549] a decision for his remaining stack of around 65,000. After contemplating for a while, [Removed:549] dropped in the call.

Taylor then showed the nuts with AK, and [Removed:549]'s KxQ went into the muck.

Tuna Hooks In Mazerolle With Aces

Three players saw a flop of 1084 where Akin Tuna bet 30,000 from the button. Hugues Mazerolle called in the big blind, while Henadzi Deilik folded in the small blind.

The turn was the K and Tuna bet 70,000. Mazerolle then moved all in for 180,000 and Tuna snap-called.

Mazerolle showed QJ for flush and straight draws, while Tuna had AA. The river was the 3 and Mazerolle missed all of his outs as he headed for the rail.

"You can't complain. Kings and now aces," tablemate Dick Postel said to Tuna after the hand.

"I lose to you," Tuna replied.

"Poker is a game where you always have to complain about something," Postel added.
