Saraniero Puts on His Cape, Makes Insane Hero Call Against Deilik

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Riccardo Saraniero deserves to put his cape on as he just made an insane hero call against Henadzi Deilik.

According to Saraniero, Deilik raised the cutoff to 16,000 and Maksim Rogov called in the small blind. Saraniero also called in the big blind.

The flop came 4J3 where the action checked to Deilik, who bet 25,000. Rogov folded and Saraniero called.

On the 9 turn, Saraniero checked again then Deilik fired another bet of 55,000. Saraniero stuck around to see the river.

When the 6 completed the board, Saraniero checked for a third time and Deilik fired 151,000, leaving himself around 40,000 behind. Saraniero had to think about it but in the end, decided on a call.

Deilik then flipped K8 for king-high, and Saraniero showed A3 for bottom pair to take the pot.

"Aces. It feels like aces," tablemate David Cabrera said after the hand.

At the same time at another table, Romain Retiere was all in for 110,000 from the hijack and Guillermo Gordo put him at risk in middle position.

Romain Retiere: QQ All in
Guillermo Gordo: A10

Retiere remained in the lead with his queens through the turn on a board of KJ59, but Gordo caught the A on the river to win the pot and send Retiere to the rail.

Postel Backdoors Diamonds to Scoop Three-Way All-In, Li Eliminated

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dick Postel
Dick Postel

Shankui Li had moved all-in from the cutoff for around 80,000 over an open from Dick Postel, and Akin Tuna had called out of the small blind. When the action got back to Postel, he also called.

On a flop of 3KQ, Tuna led all-in, and Postel snap-called for his stack of just less than 200,000.

Shankui Li: AQ All in
Dick Postel: AK All in
Akin Tuna: AK

Both Postel and Tuna had the same hand, which left Li with a lot of work to do if he wanted to survive. However, it was Postel who loved the turn as the 5 gave him a backdoor flush draw.

"Diamond!" said Postel. "No," replied Tuna.

Postel punched the air in celebration when the 7 dropped on the river, which completed his flush and saw him scoop the main and side pots. After that hand, Postel was left with around 650,000, Li was eliminated, and Tuna still has a healthy stack with around 800,000.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Adi Rajkovic
Adi Rajkovic

With about 24,000 in the pot and the flop showing 977, there were just two players involved: Vytautas Semaska in the small blind and Adi Rajkovic in the big blind. Semaska led out with a bet of 8,000, but Rajkovic responded by raising it to 20,000, and Semaska called.

When the 4 hit the turn, Semaska checked, and Rajkovic seized the moment to bet 32,000. Back to Semaska, he took a moment to think, burning through a time bank card before deciding to shove all in. Rajkovic quickly called, leading to a showdown.

Semaska revealed K9 for two pair, while Rajkovic showed A7 for trips with sevens. The Q on the river didn’t change anything, allowing Rajkovic to double up.

Joyce snap-called and turned over 55 for a full house. Chauskin tossed AJ into the muck and made his exit while Joyce climbed over 1,000,000.

"Nice turn, sir," tablemate Ivan Zabiiakin said.

"Nice river, more importantly," Joyce replied.

Georgios Tsouloftas

With about 150,000 in the pot and the board showing 8JKQ8, Romain Retiere was facing a bet of 320,000 from Georgios Tsouloftas, putting him all in. After using two time bank cards, Retiere decided to fold, giving the pot to Tsouloftas.

On the very next hand, Tsouloftas opened the action with a raise to 17,000 from the middle position, and Leonidas Kostagiolas responded by going all in for 121,000. After a brief pause, Tsouloftas made the call, and they went to showdown.

Leonidas Kostagiolas: K10All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: 55

The board offered no help to Kostagiolas, running out 82QA6, and he was eliminated as Tsouloftas added to his stack again.

If that wasn’t enough, on the very next hand, Tsouloftas scooped the blinds and antes after opening once more, as no one wanted to challenge his hot streak.
