Fokin Doubles Through Suvarna

In the hijack position, Valeriy Fokin pushed all in for his last 38,000 and got called by Santhosh Suvarna in the cutoff.

Suvarna needed to improve his hand to knock Fokin out of the tournament. The flop came Q810, giving Suvarna plenty of possibilities, but the turn was a 3 and the river a 5, which didn’t help him at all. Fokin doubled up, keeping his tournament hopes alive.

Wigan Shoves on Kamphues

Jesse Wigan raised to 13,000 on the button before Timo Kamphues three-bet to 52,000 in the small blind. Wigan called and they went heads-up to the QQJ flop.

Kamphues then bet 30,000 and Wigan called. The turn was the 4 and Kamphues bet another 85,000. Wigan responded by moving all in and Kamphues, with around 120,000 remaining, quickly folded.

In a hand between Niklas Astedt under the gun and Eleftherios Sinnos in the big blind, around 45,000 was in the middle on a board of Q939.

Sinnos led out with a bet of 16,000 and Astedt called.

The 4 river completed the board, and Sinnos fired out a bet of 60,000. Astedt went into the tank, with about 110,000 behind, and after burning through three timebanks he made the call.

Sinnos showed 97 for the turned trip nines, and Astedt mucked.

In the next hand, action folded to Christopher Nguyen on the button, who opened to 15,000, with Astedt defending the big blind.

On the KQJ flop, Astedt check-called versus a 50,000 bet covering his remaining stack.

When the 8 completed the runout, Taylor shoved, which gave [Removed:549] a decision for his remaining stack of around 65,000. After contemplating for a while, [Removed:549] dropped in the call.

Taylor then showed the nuts with AK, and [Removed:549]'s KxQ went into the muck.

Tuna Hooks In Mazerolle With Aces

Three players saw a flop of 1084 where Akin Tuna bet 30,000 from the button. Hugues Mazerolle called in the big blind, while Henadzi Deilik folded in the small blind.

The turn was the K and Tuna bet 70,000. Mazerolle then moved all in for 180,000 and Tuna snap-called.

Mazerolle showed QJ for flush and straight draws, while Tuna had AA. The river was the 3 and Mazerolle missed all of his outs as he headed for the rail.

"You can't complain. Kings and now aces," tablemate Dick Postel said to Tuna after the hand.

"I lose to you," Tuna replied.

"Poker is a game where you always have to complain about something," Postel added.
