Camarda Outplays Quetelart with Two Pair

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Adrien Quetelart started the action with a raise to 10,000 from under the gun. Salvatore Camarda on the button and Ivan Stankov in the big blind both decided to call.

When the flop came down AK5, Quetelart led out with a bet of 5,000, but only Camarda stuck around.

On the 8 turn, Quetelart shifted gears with a hefty bet of 50,000, yet Camarda wasn’t ready to back down and called.

After the K river, Quetelart checked, but Camarda wasn’t finished; he fired a bet of 35,000. After some contemplation, Quetelart made the call, but Camarda revealed AQ for two pair, which was enough to take down the pot as Quetelart’s cards found the muck.

Big Slick Helps Binder to a Double-Up

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bernhard Binder was on the button and opened the action with a raise, Tudor Zapsa was in the small blind and three-bet, Binder four-bet, and Zapsa five-bet shoved. Binder snap-called for his stack of 215,000.

Bernhard Binder: AK All in
Tudor Zapsa: A4

It was bad timing from Zapsa, whose best chance to claw anything back from the hand after the KJQ flop was to find a chop. However, the 8 turn and A river kept Binder in the lead, and he doubled up to over 400,000, while Zapsa dropped to under 100,000.
