Woody Christy
Woody Christy

Woody Christy opened to 2,100 from early position and called when Raffaele Suppa three-bet to 5,200 from the hijack.

The J109 flop checked through to 2 turn. Christy led out for 6,500, which was called, leaving the American with just over pot-sized bet behind.

Christy then jammed on the 7 river for 28,200. His opponent went deep into the tank but found a fold.

Christy turned over 99 for a set of nines, which he thought was best, but wasn't too sure.

Gerard Carbo

Gerard Carbo, a Power Path qualifier, opened to 2,000 from middle position and Theo Milioni defended his big blind.

Milioni check-called bets of 1,500 and 5,000 for the final board to read K953J. Milioni checked for a third time and Carbo jammed for 10,800. Millioni, who only just had Carbo covered, went deep into the tank for several minutes before deciding to call.

Carbo tabled K5 for two pair and Milioni mucked. His cards were never revealed and he was eliminated shortly after.

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jeremie Zouari moved all in for around 24,000 from early position and Youcef Benzerfa put him at risk on the button.

Jeremie Zouari: AK All in
Youcef Benzerfa: JJ

The 4410 flop was no help to Zouari, while the J turn gave Benzerfa a full house and left Zouari drawing dead. The river was the 4 and Zouari headed for the exit.

Ficarra Fails to Connect

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Rocco Ficarra moved all in for 11,300 from middle position with 109 and was called by Andrii Nikitin on the button, who had KJ.

The A345A runout meant Nikitin's king-high was good enough to claim the pot and elimination.

Sallustro Gets Away with a Bluff

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Four-handed on a flop of 356, Pellegrino Sallustro bet 5,400 from the hijack and Frederic Delval called in the big blind, as did Catalin Pop in middle position.

All three players checked the 9 turn and the 6 fell on the river. Sallustro then bet 12,500.

Delval quickly folded, then Pop also folded. Sallustro wiped his brow as he turned over K10 for a bluff.

"I almost called," Pop told him.
