Breckmann Left With Crumbs

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Philipp Hasenburger opened to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by Jakup Breckmann from middle position. Antonino Venneri and Harry Lodge also called from the blinds.

Action checked to Breckmann on the 864 flop, and he bet 110,000. Only Venneri called.

The K turn then checked through to the 9 river. Venneri led out for 250,000. Breckmann quickly called but mucked his cards when Venneri tabled 66 for a set of sixes. He was left with 20,000.

"Chip and a chair," he laughed.

"I'm glad you didn't check the turn. Otherwise, I'd have been stacked," said Lodge to Breckmann as Venneri added to his above-average stack.

Moschitta's Tournament Demise

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

It started slowly when Luca Moschitta raised from the cutoff to 50,000 and was called by Alessandro Merelli, who was in the small blind.

On the 4A6 flop, Merelli check-called the bet of 35,000 from Moschitta.

Merelli checked the 7 turn after a brief stare down and Moschitta also took some time to consider before betting 110,000. Merelli went all-in and Moschitta didn't appear pleased, but eventually called.
