Gabi Livshitz raised to 225,000 on the button before Virgile Turchi three-bet to 725,000 in the small blind. Livshitz then moved all in for 2,700,000 and Turchi snap-called.
Gabi Livshitz: Q♣Q♦
Virgile Turchi: A♣K♠
"Two times?" Livshitz joked heading to the flop, which came 7♦8♣5♥. His queens remained in the lead through the 3♠ turn and 9♥ river and Livshitz doubled up.
In a classic battle of the blinds, Remy Murcia initiated the action by pushing Jason Wheeler all-in from the small blind.
Jason Wheeler: K♥7♣
Remy Murcia: A♥10♣
The board ran clean for Murcia, revealing 2♠6♠2♦A♣5♣ as the dealer laid out the cards.
Murcia not only recouped his lost 500,000 chips from the previous hand but also secured additional winnings. In the previous hand Marco Gambini clinched the pot with pocket 2's, triumphing over two opponents on a board of 7♦J♣5♦3♦7♥.
With everyone folding to him in the small blind, Robbie Bull decided to make a move, shoving almost his entire stack into the middle. Pierre Basile wasted no time in responding with an all-in of his own.
Bull glanced around, checking for any additional all-ins, but finding none, he committed the remainder of his chips to the pot.
Robbie Bull: Q♦J♣
Pierre Basile: A♠J♦
The flop of 4♦Q♥2♣ favored Bull, and nothing could alter that outcome. The turn card, K♠, brought a momentary tension, but the river, 8♥, sealed the deal, securing a safe double-up for Bull.
Marco Gambini raised to 250,000 in middle position before Alisa Sibgatova moved all in for 720,000 in the hijack. Pierre Basile then reraised to 1,200,000 in the small blind.
Gambini didn't realize Basile had raised and just put in the chips to call Sibgatova. He was forced to put in the extra chips and they saw a flop of 9♠6♠5♣.
Basile then moved all in for 4,000,000 and Gambini snap-called.
Alisa Sibgatova: Q♦10♦
Pierre Basile: 10♥10♣
Marco Gambini: 3♣3♦
Basile was ahead with his pair of tens and poised to scoop the massive pot as the A♠ fell on the turn. The river, though, was the 3♠ and Gambini again spiked a two-outer on the river as he pounded the table in celebration and shot out of his seat.
Alisa Sibgatova
A shocked Basile headed for the rail amidst a stream of profanity while Gambini, who was down to just 300,000 at one point today, took the tournament chip lead.
Guillaume Nolet raised to 240,000 in the hijack and Atanas Malinov called in the cutoff. Elie Saad then moved all in for 2,530,000 in the small blind and Nolet folded, but Malinov called to put Saad at risk.
Elie Saad: J♣J♦
Atanas Malinov: A♠Q♣
Malinov took the lead on the Q♠9♦K♠ flop with a pair of queens, but Saad hit the J♠ on the turn to make a set. The K♣ river improved him to a full house and Saad doubled up.
Federico Macori raised to 1,300,000 under the gun and Robbie Bull moved all in from the small blind. Macori had just one 25,000 chip behind and tanked for a minute before calling.
Federico Macori: K♣Q♦
Robbie Bull: A♣10♦
"I was hoping you folded ace-ten. I was just thinking that," Macori said as the flop came Q♣3♥J♦ to give him the lead with a pair of queens. The rest of the board came 6♣2♠ and Macori doubled up.
"Okay, now you can call with ace-ten," Macori added after the hand.
Gabi Livshitz raised to 325,000 in the hijack and Atanas Malinov called in the small blind.
The flop came 8♣5♣6♥ and Malinov led out for 250,000. Livshitz called.
The turn was the 10♥ and Malinov bet another 350,000. Livshitz again called.
The J♠ fell on the river and Malinov slowed down and checked. Livshitz then bet 1,100,000.
Malinov finally looked up from covering his face inside his hood as he agonized over the decision. More than five minutes came off the clock before he finally folded and Livshitz took the pot.
Gil Aboodi moved all in for 1,625,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Remy Murcia in the small blind who rejammed, which folded out the big blind.
Gil Aboodi: 10♥10♦
Remy Murcia: K♥K♠
Aboodi failed to find his two-outer on the 8♣7♠4♥7♣4♦ runout.
Uri Gilboa was delighted with the elimination as he made the pay jump.
Robbie Bull opened to 400,000 from under the gun, and saw action folded to Uri Gilboa in the small blind. He put in his last 400,000 before Remy Murcia called from the big blind.
Murcia check-folded to a bet of 400,000 on the J♣8♠6♠ flop for the cards to go on their backs.
Uri Gilboa: K♣9♠
Robbie Bull: 8♥8♣
Gilboa needed to go runner-runner to stay in contention, but departed in 11th place after the 4♥A♥ runout.
